strange but fun

the pacing felt all over the place and the story was kind of strange and unbelievable, but still fun. this would make a good tv show. I think it's solid overall.

I was on the edge of my seat towards the end. I couldn’t tell what was going to happen. I really enjoyed it.

Great book- ending was meh

Great book but the ending could have been better. I feel like there should have been a huge twist and it kinda left me disappointed.

Great story but performance was distracting. Her voice often too high, and took away from concentrating on story.

Good story!

While technically a serial killer or not, the story was brilliant. I did wish for a splashier ending as it just sort of flatlined while completing the story line. That’s just my view, all in all a very worthwhile read.

WHAT A WHIRLWIND OF EMOTION!

I was shocked and felt waves of empathy, sympathy, anger, frustration, and intense love as the main character felt it.

As you finish the first chapter you wonder what in the world did you just read?!? And then as you continue you choose sides and the main character's actions leave plenty of room for debate if you are reading this in a book club or with friends.

I was immersed in this story and by the time it was the end, I felt left standing realizing I had my own life I had to get back to. What a fantastic rush reading this. Highly recommend.

Refreshingly smart

Thoroughly enjoyed this book! I listen to a few books a week, and this rates very high on my list of favorites. Smart, entertaining, engaging characters, terrific narration.

Fresh twist on the antiheroine

A really fresh twist on the overdone antihero theme. Rothschild presents terrific moral ambiguity, clever plotting and great character development. Her prose is hip & subtle and her themes rich and sophisticated. Can't wait for her next book!

Loved this book!

This was such a different story! The characters were well and the plot was fascinating. Really great book!
