this book was alot more political than in the first book. I didn't mind it held my attention. Good inbetween book. I'm curious on how the rest of the series is going to go. I'm not totally invested and obsessed with any of the characters but I still enjoyed this story.

Less Spicy but more story

I like this book I saw it as a bridge to another book. It wasn’t as spicy as the first ones, but it was still pretty good.

Very happy with the book series. Downloaded and read it you won’t be disappointed with it

Needed more romance, however.....

I still wish it had more romance but the action held me so captivated I hardly noticed. A few more curse words but far and few between and no sex which, I freakin wish they would! I loved the secondary characters as well. They made me laugh! Also, so far no love triangle otherwise I would stop reading.

Finally a female character that isn't whiny! The authors did wonderfully! It's not full of sex scenes, but a dance between the two. Both wanting more, and yet, the story must evolve further! Onto book 3!

Let me tell you I couldn't stop listening to this series I love the way Quinn is...She unfiltered evil and not so nice..I really enjoyed this one female voice in point

It just gets better!

It seems impossible, but this book is even better than the first one! The romantic suspense is ratcheted up even higher, and the action and plot twists will leave you listening (or turning the pages) well into the night! This series is quickly becoming a favorite.

Still hooked

I like how there are still mysteries. In some novels you have a lead constantly asking why, and getting answers. Here, there is trust still attempting to be built. So, there is still a guard up, and unanswered questions.

Expertly written

The intricate tale is smoothly written to enrapture the reader. The delicate nature and beauty in the voice entrancing you to hear the tale as it comes alive before you. Such a great work, I am floored.
