as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

Adventure from the beginning

This book is action packed and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Once I started listening I couldn't stop until the end.
Narrator Todd Waller does a good job.

Another good book in this series!

I liked this story and would recommend it. It has a little action/ suspense for something a little different with the romance. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the narrator's voice for Gio. Nothing wrong with it just not my preference. However, it was easy to tell the characters apart.

Loved Geo and Marcus

At first it seemed to have to many character names but once you got it all straight in your mind it was a good story. It’s nice how the different characters flow from story to story.

Marcus is on a new job with the FBI. On the night he made it to his new job he meets an omega named Gio. They spend the night together and then discover that Marcus is his new boss. As Marcus learns his job and tries to navigate the tricky situation with Gio, his mind travels to a realm where he feels he's missing something. Then Gio discovers he's pregnant about the time both men discover something that makes them start to shuffle the murky waters of their job.
Todd Waller is an amazing narrator who voice draws you into the story and keeps you riveted.
Fantastic audio and story!

The voice

Love the story but the reader is so melodic it’s difficult to enjoy. If it was the same reader from the last book I would love it

I had a hard time getting excited until!!!

The first bit of the book was hard to get into but the characters came to life a few chapters in and I really enjoyed the book. The camaraderie between ALL of the familiar groups was crazy wonderful. Wonderful listen!! It took a bit to get used to the narrator but I'm glad I finished the book. It was definitely worth it.

What a great story!

I really enjoyed the story, I particularly love Gio, and how conflicted he is with his actual job and with the way his FBI career is going on, and his growing preoccupation, after so many undercover gigs, about who he really is.

When he discovers that the guy with whom he hooked-up some days ago is his new boss at the investment firm in which he is working undercover... well, things get even messier,

Marcus, OTOH, is a pretty decent guy beginning a new job that is less than what he expected. And he feels something is wrong at the firm.

Eventually, their individual investigations collide at the worst moment, and they found themselves running for their lives.

The plot is great, the characters truly interesting, and the narration pretty good. I'm finding this series really attractive and I'm looking forward to the next instalment :)

Might be my favorite

I really liked this storyline and the MCs I also liked how their worlds were connected in little coincidental ways. Their banter and humor made ut fun. The narration is good, though personally Gio's "voice" was a little grating at times. Overall not a bad listen.

great story!

Gio is an omega undercover FBI agent who is sent to investigate a company in Chicago. He meets an Alpha one night in a hotel restaurant and decides to let his guard down enough to explore the attraction during an one night stand. Complications arise when that alpha, Marcus, turns out to be an executive with the company he is currently undercover at. Then, things get even more complicated when they find out they are about to be parents, not to mention dirty FBI agents, gang members and a lot of other interesting components that come into play in this entertaining read from Austin and Aiden Bates. Definitely recommend this book

Narration is done by Todd Waller. Fantastic job with bringing story to listeners. Good voice.
