As the newest student at Blackwater University—a hidden school for witches and wizards hidden inside of one of DC's most exclusive colleges—Edwin Sawyer and the coeds who adore him have the life they've always dreamed of.

In order to remain enrolled at Blackwater, students must pass their Grand Conjuration—a public test of magical might. Edwin's powers as an Awakener and his apprenticeship under Headmaster Lavrans Ravensson exempt him—but both of the coeds who share his affections will have to impress their department heads in order to reach the next level of witch-dom.
And this promises to be a Grand Conjuration unlike any other. Terrible creatures stalk the campus at night, while the nefarious Black Moon Society is said to be recruiting students to join their ranks and learn their forbidden blood magic.
It's a lot for one guy to handle. Good thing he's got two of the campus's most brilliant witches by his side...
