3rd time listening it's just as good. every time. Brent can stick the landing.

Satisfying

The story is wrapped up very well, or the night angel trilogy at least, but it seems that Weeks is setting up for follow on novels which will be very exciting.

Excellent listen

Read the first time and loved it. Listening this time was great and it made me love it all over again. Narrator was great!

Sound ending

I enjoy the ending and how everything and everyone found a place beyond the shadows even though death and after betrayal. Everything just fits so eloquently after a painful and trying adventure. Truly a masterpiece like Richard Adams' "Maia" epic novel.

No matter how many times I read or listen to this series it will always be my favorite.

How 1 favored character turned into so many towards The end

Loved all three. About to start the 4th with very high hopes. Blint was a true bad ass character. I still want to know what’s with Logan’s mark?

a good story ruined by a vile notion

I started this series because it was on a list of books with "overpowered" main characters. First off, the MC really isn't OP. He gets abilities that are strong, but he barely uses them. When he does, it's usually only in moments of great emotion. He's intelligent but not to the point where he's able to use it to any real advantage... mostly just picking up on things quickly. Overall, this was a decent series that was ruined by the child sex stuff. It's disgusting and vile. As a father of 3 girls... it makes me really upset with the author. It's one thing to retell historic events, or state facts of actual incidents... but how far is too far in fictional storytelling? I did not want a mental image of a 50+ y.o. guy having sex with a 13 y.o. girl. I feel like everyone should be aware of this aspect. I never would have started the series had I known. I know it's not real, but it's just wrong.

B.W. is an eye opener

I hated reading in ALL forms until I was boarding a flight in 2008 and saw the image of a black hooded assassin on 'The Way of Shadows'. I read and listen to 10-20 books a year since. At least 1 is always a re-read of Weeks.

This was a mind blowing series, the epitome of a must read!! Treat yourself.. do it… buy them all..
