I just listened to the audio book narrates by BJ Harrison. I just love his narration. I listen in my car going back and forth to work. It makes my commute bareable.

Melissa has done it again. Her books get better and better. Just when you think she can't top her latest, she does. Dean and Emerys relationship started as a flirtation. Then they became close friends through Skype. Dean had strong feelings for Emery. However, Emery thought of them as friends, very good friends. Emery swore off dating friends. The last relationship she had, she had to leave great job. Emery decided to move to Willfleet permanently instead of just going to work as a yoga instructor for the summer. Things change when Emery had to nice in with Dean for a while.
This story has a HEA and no cliffhangers.

Simply a love story

This was just a nice little romance . It wasn't filled with a lot of drama or meddling friends. It was a fun, flirty read between a landscaper and a yoga instructor. Two people who considered themselves friends until they ended up being more. Emery and Dean fit together well. Where she was outgoing and direct, Dean was more cautious, but definitely adventurous. When Emery turns to Dean for a place to stay while she's getting her Yoga business up and running, they end up heading into their Bayside passions.

I love these cast of characters in this sweet and sexy series. This story is about Dean and Emery's romance and it was so much fun! They had become close, long distance friends, after meeting earlier at Rick and Desiree’s Christmas party. After a heartbreaking betrayal, Emery is moving to Bayside to live and work. Dean couldn't be happier, since he has wanted Emery from the first moment he met her. Emery is so naive and clueless to her feelings, but her attraction and desire for Dean grows stronger everyday. But she has been burned by a work romance before and is afraid to cross that line again. But Dean is so patient with Emery, trying not to scare her off and ruin their friendship. He is determined to convince her how perfect they are for each other and win her over. They are so cute together and I really cheered for their HEA! This sweet, engaging, and sexy romance is filled with witty banter, quirky characters, awkward situations, and fiery chemistry. Narrator, B.J. Harrison brings these characters to life and makes you fall in love with this quaint seaside community. I loved this fun, sweet & sexy romance, and want more of these wonderful friends and family of Bayside!

Great Friends to Lovers and Slow Burn Romance

This is the second book in the Bayside Summers Series. I loved Emery and Dean's friends to lovers, and slow burn romance. Emery is beautiful, smart, and talkative. Dean is handsome, and supportive. They are perfect together. Their story is sweet, flirty, passionate, funny, and heartwarming. Great narration from B.J. Harrison. Looking forward to more in the series.

Fun, romantic story!

Dean and Emery are best friends, but he wants to be more than friends. Emery has sworn off dating friends since her last relationship is the reason she moved to the cape. Dean can no longer keep his feelings a secret and he is determined to show Emery how good they can be together. When she finally gives into her feelings, they are explosive together.

This is a great friends to lovers story. The second book of the Bayside Summer series and you won't be disappoint.
