Poor Ocean. The girl has a lot to deal with between her evil stepmother and her kids that are just the devil, a gang riot and a whole heck of a lot of trauma, a lot of loss, a broken heart, lies upon lies and murder and a lot of mayhem. I swear I just wanted to reach out and grab her out of the crisis she is currently in as the entire world seems to be imploding right in front of her very eyes. You need to buckle up because a whole heck of a lot happens in this book that I am not going to tell you about. I don't know if it is possible to review this book and not give something away. I loved listening to it and I assume there is another book to follow because I need to know and I have a whole lot of questions. Don't hesitate to listen to this series The author and the narrator's are amazing and you won't regret it at all.

Wow… if you thought the story wouldn’t get crazier there it goes! Colton is everything! Sexy, powerful, compassionate. His connection with Ocean is clear. Of course even though I’ve seen how crazy Nic can be I still love him too. While Nic was obviously wrong in his betrayal I do believe he had no choice. Ocean is always talking about how rough their hood is but always judgmental as well. Her inner monologue is hilarious but often repetitive so can get annoying. I was so excited to finally see some dual narration but all we got was one chapter of Blake’s voice! I would have loved to have him voice Nic and Colton’s lines. I don’t like stories where the main female lead gets knocked up by someone else so that’s always a minus for me. That ending though… crazy! I’ve gotta finish the story now!

Outstanding Story & Listen🎧 A Twisted Mind-Blow!

Sheridan Anne what did you do? Why? That ending blew my mind, nearly killing me, you are either an evil mastermind or just plain evil. “Barbie B*tch” picks up where the second book, “Cock F*ck” leaves off be sure to start this series from the beginning, “Tough Sh*t” this series works best if read in order, even better listen to the audiobooks, they are all amazing. In this book, Ocean and Colton’s relationship is strengthening. Colton is handling things well, doing a great with taking over his father’s job, as well as getting revenge for the attack at the house. We get a glimpse of how powerful he is and what he can accomplish with his connections. Colton has been very supportive of Ocean, she has a lot to deal with and not just Colton’s PITA mother and spoiled and bratty twin sisters. She uncovers secrets and betrayals that leave her conflicted and pulled in different directions. Some storylines get resolved in this book and we get answers some answers to things we were wondering about, I will keep it vague because it is best to go in with an open mind. I will only say, that ending was not one I saw coming and I am looking forward to finding out why Ocean chose that path. Like the first two books the story is cleverly plotted and there is never a dull moment, there is plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, mystery, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotional moments and some hot romance. Sheridan Anne, thank you for another mind-blowing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, the talented and versatile voice artist Lessa Lamb continues to knock this series out of the park with her outstanding performance. She has a complete understanding of the characters she portrays, giving each a voice that is a perfect fit for that character’s persona, sounding believable in that role and just as I picture the character to sound. She sets the perfect tone for the story, captures all the characters’ emotions and projects them into her performance. Joining her is Blake Lockheart, who is equally talented and delivers an equally outstanding performance as Colton in a gut wrenching and emotional scene. Both are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

I love this series even if Ocean makes a lot of stupid decisions. Lessa Lamb and Blake Lockheart did and amazing job at narrating.
