One of the most gripping reads I've ever experienc

A poor, relatable female lead with major attitude, dropped into an all-boys school … oh and her besties are high-ranking gang members. In typical Anne fashion, this gets juicy FAST and I was hooked by the third (or so) chapter.

Only Sheridan Anne can have me so engrossed in ridiculous high school drama. To be fair, these kids are dealing with very adult problems and it’s non-stop chaos.

Thankfully, this picks up exactly where Book 1 leaves off.

There is no delay to the most epic, delicious and wild drama—completely on par with book one, if not slightly faster and … in some ways, even bigger.

Extra love for Cairo’s antics which were hilarious.
The plot really thickened with this installment, thanks to some very interesting revelations.

Overall:
Things really heated up in this installment, on multiple fronts, and quickly. Even more addictive than book 1, somehow.

Barbie B

Vengeance.
If you enjoy vengeance and darkness and a character evolving right before your very eyes (or ears) … you’ll enjoy this.

While I dislike the concept of revenge in real life, as it doesn’t really solve anything, generally, WOW is it delicious in fiction sometimes and this was kind of beautiful in a dark and twisted way.

Thankfully this installment does pick up right where book 2 ended.

Interestingly, we got some of Colton’s POV in this installment, so it actually gets even more delicious.

Ride or Die

Opens in Nic’s POV which, I believe is a first for this series and so incredibly dark, dangerous and dramatic. If I hadn’t read books 1-3, I’d still be all in just from that first chapter. That said, I do recommend reading this series in order. It’s epic and very worth it.

One thing that I can’t help but appreciate about this series is, with all the very adult, literal life-altering chaos constantly flying around, Anne still manages to build in lots of ‘kids being kids’ and just having dumb, teenager fun throughout. Truly masterfully done.

This was so twisty, in a ‘whose side is he/she on’ kinda way. You def have to pay attention but OH it is so deliciously worth it.

Overall:
5 stars for drawing me in and holding on to me so hard. Might have to re-indulge in this entire series regularly.



Black Widow

This novella was my introduction to the ‘Rejects Paradise’ world and it wasn’t long before I realized I was hooked and I’ll need to binge the rest of them. Despite not reading any of this world before this one, I didn’t feel lost or confused at all—Anne does a great job showing what’s going on and introducing the world and characters.

It’s very juicy with the heroine caught right between a couple of rival gangs—highly recommended if you like drama/action/suspense-y reads. It’s also got a bit of darkness.

🎧 Audio:
Fantastic—very professional production with perfect sound quality. This book also packed an all-star cast of narrators.(The first 3 just had a single narrator, but she managed to make them sound full-cast! Books 4 & 5 had multiple and were perfect.) 5 stars. 🦩

Drawn out and repetetive

Annoying repeat of whole monologues in several different ways, makes it drawn out and frustrating. DNF at chapter 3 in book 2. If I had read the book I could just have skipped the overabundance of unneccessary words, but unfortunately I had on audio. To bad, usually love Sheridan

Ocean & Colton...

The Rejects Paradise Collection is all four Rejects paradise books plus the bonus novella Black Widow. They are dark, step-siblings, High School bully romances. Ocean and Colton's connection is intense, overwhelming, and all consuming. It is action packed, steamy, with great intimate moments. The side characters are entertaining and added to the overall story. It has non stop drama, twists and turns you won't see coming and all the feels. The story went on a bit longer than was necessary but over all a good read.

Lessa Lamb, Blake Lockheart and Maeve York did a great job portraying these characters and keeping you engaged in the story.

I am listening to the audio of this series. The narrators did an excellent job telling the story and giving the characters a voice.

This is a bully romance. I did like some of the story but I had an issue with Ocean I know this is a story but I like a little realism. She like to run her mouth and come off as someone you don't want to mess with right from the start but when it came to proving it I felt like she was a coward. A couple times she's put in a position with a specific character in the book that escalated too far but in the beginning she would always throw threats that he didn't back away from and then she is looking for help. Sometimes people just watch it happen. Then there are incidents that the police should of been involved in but I get the whole rich thing nothing will happen but at least two incidents she should of been hospitalized for what she endured. The only time she had a bit of being tough was when she had a gun. I'm hoping later in the series she proves herself.

Still the same talking and not backing it up. But besides her we now have the cartel but that seemed for a hot minute, A rival gang, a discovery that hopefully we will get answers behind it, one interesting funeral, and answers to where the missing character is. The mystery killer is forgotten. Another injury to her head and yet she doesn't need medical attention but all these blows to the head are written that would be fatal. Then there is how devastated she is when she sees her ex retaliate and she was yelling weeks earlier how she was going to seek revenge on the cartel. Like I said this is just my opinion I like a majority of the story it's just the main female character. Also when how everyone boasts about how brave and fearful she is but yet can't prove it.

So in this one a discovery has her running back to Dominick for the same reason she cut him from her life. Dominick is unraveling. Then the mystery killer is revealed. One of the characters ends up in jail. Then Milo reveals his secret, then yay for him, then poor Milo and then Yay for him again. Other characters hooking up. The rival gang does something. A devastating discovery has Ocean making a choice without thinking and the consequences of this decision. Still not connecting with her but still interested in the story.

Ride or Die

Retaliation from the gangs. A decision from one of the gangs that make no sense. More betrayals. Just when I think she finally got a backbone and was going to step up she proved me wrong. A terrible discovery that makes a life altering decision easy. Some other life changing things happen too.


Black Widow

Dominick and Ronnie

I novela that happens a couple years later. You got a prison break and a kidnapping. More gang rivalry. A discovery into Dominick's past. I enjoyed this side story.

Dark High School Bully Romance

Rejects Paradise Collection by Sheridan Anne is a dark high school bully romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lessa Lamb, Maeve York and Blake Lockheart.

I absolutely love Sheridan's books! I was hooked from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. There were a few times I wanted to scream at the boys in Oceania's life. But I love that she keeps her head held high and pushes through. The epilogue had me in tears.

I was so glad the bonus novella Black Widow was included in this collection. I loved Dominic and Roni together.

Lessa, Maeve and Blake did an amazing job on the narration. They really know how to bring a story to life. I can't wait to listen to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this collection to anyone who loves dark romances, bully romances, gang romance, or romantic suspense.

Why did it take me so long to read this series. Wow, it was so good. I couldn't put it down once I started. It has everything you want in a book. Strong FMC'S, hot guys, angst and plenty of spice!

I did the audio. The narrators did such a great job bringing all the characters to life.

A dark, bully romance

The Rejects Paradise Collection is a dark, bullying high school romance story. Is a collection of four books plus a novella that takes you on a journey of a group of rich high school students and members of a gang. It's so full of suspense and drama from book one and continues until the end that will keep you engaged. Some of the content is a little far fetched, but still worth listening too.

Lessa Lamb, Black Lockheart and Maeve York did a really good job narrating.

Messy messy.

Is it wrong that I’m glad Ocean got jumped in on the last book. I haven’t finished the 4 th book but everything she’s doing is massively annoying at this point. She’s putting her family at risk, snitching on her so called family and for her to be so pressed on protecting her child and being street smart, I sure can’t tell.

She created most of problems instead of using common sense. You have a billionaire boyfriend and go to the hood and keep piling it on. She keeps saying “ no more lies” but keeps lying to everyone. Ive never seen such poor self preservation instincts. The first 3 books were really good but this 4th one is grating. Colton has shown her time and time again he is capable but she trust everyone but him.

Colton deserves better. Maybe if he dropped her ass and really let her fend for herself she’d stop acting like an impulsive drama queen and value her blessings. Let Russo have her ass. She’s so pressed to manage her own shit, let her. I’m disappointed in all the unnecessary plot points in the story.

Excellent Audiobook Box

This set is perfect for long trips. The best way to listen to a series is straight through. I was completely immersed into this world, feeling all the emotions, loving the characters and storyline. I wasn't ready for it to end. I will definitely be listening to this again.

The narrators were excellent. They brought this audiobook to life with emotional performances that had it rolling like a movie in my head.

Rejects Paradise Collection

Rejects Paradise Collection is all 4 of the books and the bonus novella in this series. I loved this series, and was really glad to be able to relisten and fall in love with these characters again.

Tough Sh*t is the first book in the Rejects Paradise series. I've wanted to read this series for a while, so when I saw they were coming to audio I was very excited. After listening to the first book I can say I was not disappointed! I can't wait for the next three to come out! This is defiantly one of my favorite books, and I will probably finish the series and then relisten to all of the audiobooks when they come out!

This book is told from Ocean's point of view. She lives on the wrong side of the tracks and has had struggles making it. After her father passes away she is moved to the rich and elite when her mom takes a housekeeping job. While at this job she meets Colton whom is her mother's employer's son. Her mother's employer sends her to his school which is a all boys school.

While Ocean is at this school so many things happen to her. She gets blamed for being a girl, however she won't let anyone take her down and she does what she has to survive! Ocean is a tough girl and I loved every minute of her! Colton wants nothing to do with her (or so it seems.)

Cocky F*ck is the second book in the Rejects Paradise series. This book needs to be read after the first book, as it takes over right after that one ends. This book is told from Ocean's point of view.

Ocean has not had an easy past, and though the first book was no different. After her attack she and her friends want revenge. After the crazy ending in book one Colton has changed. He just uses her and it's not always pleasant. The way he treats her in front of others isn't always the nicest. She refuses to take it from him and calls him out on it.

Nic wants her back and Breaker Flats and will do whatever he can to get her back there. She fights him at every turn with how he has treated her, and then when she sees his monster come out she wants nothing to do with him.

Ocean learns so many secrets in this book. She learns the truth about her father, and how she ended up at the Carrington's. When Colton's mom and twin sisters return she does not take the news well.

Barbie B*tch is the third book in the Rejects Paradise series. This book is told from Ocean's point of view, with one chapter read by someone else.

Ocean has found out where someone is after he attacked her, and she's not sure how to handle it. Colton is there to help her through it like everything else he has been there for. However with his mom and twin sisters back they make her life not as easy as it was before. His mom thinks she's in charge, and Colton has to keep reminding her he's the owner of the house and financials now.

Can Ocean survive being at the same school as the twins? Can she show them she's not going to be beneath them? What happens when Ocean finds out secrets about Colton? How does she handle it? What happens when she finds out secrets that Nick has been hiding? She finds out secrets about her father as well. How does her mom handle it?

Ride or Die is the 4th book in the Rejects Paradise series. This book needs to be read/listened to after the first three books in the series as it continues on right where book 3 left off. This book is told from multiple points of view, but mainly from Ocean.

We find out some big secrets at the end of book 3. Book 4 starts off with Ocean going to the rival gang of her former best friend Nick. She wants revenge for what happened in her past that she found out Nick did.

As she is fighting Nick, Colton is doing whatever he can to get Ocean back and in his arms. Ocean found out some news that will change her and Colton's lives as well.

Will Ocean get her revenge on Nick without hurting her other black widow friends? Will Colton and Ocean get through everything, and get her happy ever after.

Black Widow is part of the Rejects Paradise series. This book is about Dominic and Veronica, and is told from both of their points of view.

We have met these characters in the past book, however, in them Dominic has a huge crush on Ocean and tries to marry her. In this book he has just escaped prison, and he's on the hunt for Veronica. As soon as she finds out he's released she tries to run for it.

This book was a quick read for me and I really enjoyed it. I loved seeing Dominic get his happy ending.
