TGIF used to mean happy hour drinks or curling up with delivery pizza. But when you live in an inn for paranormal beings, the end of the week often signals the beginning of chaos.

Getting rid of the shrieking banshee is priority number one, and all we have to do is solve a local murder.

The suspect pool quickly narrows to four grieving family members, but it doesn't take long for the waters to muddy as secrets and resentments bubble to the surface.

Between vengeful spirits, family feuds, and my own mysterious past catching up with me, surviving until Monday is looking less likely by the hour.

Maybe I'd be better off as a full-time cat after all.

The Beachwood manor weaving its typical magic

Loved revisiting one of my favorite fictional places:the Beachwood Manor. In its typical fashion, it weaves its magic throughout the lives of all its inhabitants and its special visitors. The story seems to just be starting for Blair in this story, and I’m so curious to see how she grows into her true abilities, and what those abilities actually are. Looking forward the next chapter in her story.

what's that out to me the most was the banshee

like how old Ryan was there and how was their relationship was growing and how it described how the banshee was until it didn't bring in any new characters except for the dance she and people who are necessary to the story

I think this is my Fav. story by DG yet!

This story was a little bit more dramatic, more realistic, even slightly creepier (for a short stint) and more fun than any of the other books I’ve read/listened to by DG so far.. and I’ve been through like 4 of her series.

I would have enjoyed hearing more from the Banshee though, she was written out really quickly.

However, I appreciate the slight departure from what might be considered “conservative” as far as creativity and emotional realism goes. Blair is relatable and I am enjoying her evolution and sense of sisterhood quite a lot.

I hope the next story in this series is available very soon!!!

Engaging Story line and likeable characters

This story series is such a fun adventure. The characters grow with each book and it's like listening to a family experiencing the fun and laughter as they deal with what life throws at them. In my opinion it's worth the credits to listen to all the titles in the series. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

Great to get updates on old characters

Loved hearing about the Beachwood Manor crew. The main character is truly unlikable to the point of annoyance, but it’s almost worth tolerating to hear the other characters around her endless whining. I’ve never not liked any of Ms. Garrett’s characters but Blair is teeth grindingly annoying. Anytime she faces a struggle of any kind she can’t handle it without endless “woe is me”. I think I’ll wait for a book about any of the others and skip the rest of this series. I was hoping for character progression by book 3, but it’s all the same as the first two books.
Amanda Ronconi as always is vocal perfection.
