So good!!

This was such a light read! The romance was perfect, and the storyline was amazing, not too much and not too little. Do recommend! 💕

I want to live in Avalon Bay!

Elle Kennedy is one of those authors who could write anything and it would be an absolute masterpiece. This book is no different. I had so much fun being immersed back into Avalon Bay and getting to see the second chance romance between Gen and Evan form. These two have a wild, fiery chemistry from the very first chapter and I was obsessed. If you are looking for a small town, second chance, spicy book rec then I highly recommend this!!!

Read the first book so you can understand the story line better. I made that mistake

Your next beach read

Cute. I wait for a larger climax in these books but they are far more chiller than that. Would read by the beach. I really love the dual narration. I have already pre-order the next!

Least likely to succeed

Evan and Genn would definitely have been voted least likely to succeed in high school. He remains an ass for most of this book which made it hard for me to enjoy. Genn left town to grow up without him and eventually drags him into maturity as well. Their chemistry is hot but man, that’s a lot to work through.

Skip this one!

This was too boring to finish! I skipped ahead a bit too and didn't seem to get any better. Returning this!

Total garbage

So disappointing but also not really because the first book wasn’t very good. Evan sucks. There is nothing about him that would make any girl think twice about him based on this story. Don’t waste your time.

Meh

After reading the other two in this series (I read out of order starting with 3 which I loved, then 2 which was really good) I felt like I had to see Gen and Evan’s story and how it played out. Which left me very disappointed and as though I wasted my last credit of the month for audible. These two were weak and I was waiting for them both to at least grow in their characters but never happened. It’s one worth skipping.

I'm listening to the reviews that say to skip this one. Both characters are complete messes and all-around not great people. I can get past that if there is a compelling story, but there isn't. I tried for two hours, but I'm so bored.
