Such a good story!

This was my first MM vampire romance and I really liked it! I wish the book was a little longer because I just wanted more from Tate and Sebastian. I love that they’ve known each other for years and that even though they’re vampire slayers and things go wrong, they’re still there for each other.

The way Tate loved Sebastian for years and years and Sebastian never knew 🥹 but when they finally got together it was really good! 🥰🥰🥰 i genuinely loved the book and highly recommend it!

ETA-The audio was fantastic too! I really liked the narrations done by Micheal and Theo. I think they really brought both characters to life.

Paranormal romance isn’t really my thing but I have been watching to branch out from romance and thriller lately so after reading the blurb for this and getting intrigued, I signed up for an ALC. In saying that, this is my first book by this author, so I didn’t know what to expect. It’s different and I don’t mean that in a bad way… by the end of the book, it will have you addicted and wanting more once you’ve finished the book!

As I said above, I don’t read/listen to many paranormal romances… But it seems a lot of the ones I do read/listen to are about vampires and I must say out of all the vampire romances that I have read, this is up there as one of my favourites. it’s unique, it’s sexy and steamy and deliciously dark!

Tate and Sebastian are vampire hunters and Tate has been in love with Sebastian for years… like since they were kids, secretly pining for him and when I say pining, I mean HE WAS OBSESSED. However, Sebastian seems like he is oblivious to his friend’s feelings and obsession with him.

They are working together to uncover at a college where there is a secret society full of vampires and in a matter of 24 hours their whole lives completely change leaving Tate with a tough decision to make…which is that tough for him, given his feelings for Sebastian. He’d do anything for him.

Tate and Sebastian were everything and more! Their relationship was unique, it’s not like most couples I’ve read in books, especially vampires. Plus, this is also the first MM vampire romance I have ever read, so I don’t really have anything to compare it to but if I did, I really do think this would be the favourite because I really enjoyed how unique this love story is.

This was a devilishly delicious dark romance. The sex was scorching hot! It involved a lot of biting, blood play and knife play. It was kinky AF. The two of them couldn’t get enough of each other. Since Sebastian was turned, he became unhinged for Tate and he’s confused and unsure why but he doesn’t hold back and these two and their very intimate connection and bond strengthen throughout the story.

This book is far from a “sweet” romance. However, as the book progresses the dynamics between the two guys change and by the end they finally allow themselves to feel the way they feel for each other. The author added a sweet epilogue which has now made me want even more of these boys and their intense, steamy and unique relationship.

This book has no hearts and flowers. If that’s what you are looking for. This book is not for you. This book is unhinged, it’s steamy, it’s kinky and it’s delicious and dark.

I suggest checking your trigger warnings before jumping into and reading.

Vampire Hunter/Vampire...

Blood and Secrets is a M/M, vampire/vampire hunter, forced proximity romance that gives off Twilight vibes. It's a mostly smut story between two best friends/roommates. It has a pretty good storyline and it is fast paced. Tate and Sebastian have a great bond and chemistry between them. It was a fun read but it does have some triggers.

Shorter and steamy!

This is the first book I've read/listened to by Beatrix Hollow. I honestly have no idea why I asked for this since Vampires and MM are not my normal reads. It was a great introduction into what I've envisioned typical vampires to be like. It was short and super steamy. Shorter romances are harder to write, in my opinion. I often don't like them. This one was well done! If you want a vampire trope, quick listen, with lots of MM steam, this is a great choice!

Michael Norman Johnson and Theo Sinclair gave us absolutely perfect performances. They had this rolling like a movie in my head. Love their voices. Favorite narrators for certain!

okay this book was actually really good. to be honest I didn't think I was going to like it. but I did.my favorite part of the whole book is the last 2 or 3 chapters. it was so heartwarming I love it. you guys have to listen/read this book.

Hunter and Vamp

This was a really fun, quick read. Once I started, I couldn't put it down. I was intrigued with the plot and wanted to see what would happen next. The spice was definitely on point.

I have found a new narrator to add to my favorites. Really enjoyed the narration.

Leave it to Beatrix Hollow to write an entertaining novella. This book was full of delicious, bloody debauchery, and I am here for it 👏🏼 I wanted to read this book based off of a NSFW art piece Beatrix shared on IG and it didn’t disappoint. It was fast moving and jam packed with a light plot, decent action, and a whole lot of spice. What more can you get out of a novella?

Hot and quick listen.

This was a novella of sorts. It was short and too the point. The MMCs are partners with a mission to breach and gain information about a cult of vampires. They both are hiding secrets from each other that our brought to the light through tragedy. They must work together to figure out where to go next. The spice as a decent amount for the length of the book. The chemistry was good. I feel like it being short we kind of missed some build up and it seemed a little quick in the timeline. Overall pretty good and I enjoyed the narration.

In very Beatrix Hollow fashion, this little diddy was a whole lot of spice with not a huge plot. It was very entertaining. It’s a great dark palate cleanser, if there is such a thing. I was in a constant turn of small town romances and this was the perfect little dark smutty novella to break them up a bit. We’ve got two vampire hunters where one gets turned into a vampire. The one that stays human is obsessed with the one that got turned, so obviously he’s not going to kill him as soon as he finds out and he’s going to help him escape the brotherhood of vampire hunters they’re in. Along the way there’s lots of blood play and biting (obv…he’s a vampire) and…feelings! It’s really cute and a fun time!

Theo and Michael did such a great job. I loved how each of them portrayed Sebastian and Tate. Great job to both!
