I read and loved this book when the author published as a novella, but this expanded version is even better.

Bryce finds out, rather abruptly, that he is a dad, and that leads to an unusual job interview for Rachel. She's more than a little surprised when Bryce hires her so quickly and has her help with the baby. The ensuing story is sweet and fun. I really enjoyed getting to listen to the audiobook and can't wait for more from this series.

Cute and quick and sweet! I’ll def be on the lookout for the rest of the series. The audio narration is excellent too.

love this story

I read the book when it came out. I rarely get the chance to reread something, so listening to the audio is the next best thibg. this story was so adorable, I forgot how much I enjoyed it.

as for the narator, I'm not gunna lie, I didn't think I'd like her when. the story first started. I've never listened to her before, and I was worried them at her voice was going to bug me. I got over it. she does such a good job reading the emotion in the story. a few times, some of the pronunciations bugged me (strapping into the stroller I believe was it) but other than that, it was enjoyable to listen to

Good single dad story

The story started off a little slow as you learned the background of what was going on, but then picked up. I enjoyed how Bryce and Rachel's relationship grew over time and how his feelings changed for Nora. It was a good story with good narration.

Phenomenal Little Jewel of a Story!!

The chemistry builds as each layer is peeled back exposing an undeniable bond and amplifying affections, launching this gem to a whole new level. The personalities are well matched and blended with enough flaws for diversity. The characters and scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and colourful descriptions so rich and lively, they blend and flow beautifully. Fantastic job Thea Dawson and AJ Ferraro for this phenomenal story and experience with listening to this story come to life, just phenomenal. Everyone needs to grab a copy of this book as you don’t want to miss out on this little jewel of a story. Happy Listening!!

Fun read

This is a fun easy read about adoption. Bruce gets a a surprise call about a daughter he was unaware of. Her mother a has passed away and her parents are in their 70'system ne are not able to raise her. Rachel Bryces is a new receptionist that makes life fun for Bruce.Great story.

As Needed

When Rachel goes to an interview at a law office the last thing she expects is to find her potential boss shirtless and to have a baby thrust upon her. Bryce needs an assistant but he needs sleep even more. The two enter agreement in which Rachel helps Bryce with his baby, a baby that is had no previous knowledge of and has been recently left in his care. As the attraction between the two grows, they will need to figure out what their future holds.

This was a humorous holiday listen . This was My first experience with author Thea Dawson and I am looking forward to more from her. Narrator AJ Ferraro did a good job narrating the story.

I was given this audio book at my request and am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion in this review.

Great Book

As Needed: A Holiday Romance (Haven Bay Book One) was a great read by Thea Dawson. Rachel has a job interview at a law office that doesn't end as she has expected. At the end of it her new boss, Bryce, hands her a baby. Bryce didn't know he was a father until the week before and needs an assistant to help him. I really enjoyed reading Rachel and Bryce's story and can't wait to read more by the author.

Opposites Attract Romance

This book made laugh so much and smile. From their first meeting when a shirtless Bryce hands Rachel a crying Nora to take care of as part of her temporary administrative duties I was a sucker for these characters. He was a stuffy lawyer who didn’t want the complications of a child. She was a fun loving world traveling free spirit who smiled a lot and still didn’t know what she wanted to do with her life. It was an opposites attract romance with that adorable baby in the middle.

The narrator had a nice upbeat tone with voice changes and inflections in all the right places.

An adorable and touching story

This was a funny, adorable and also touching story about two individuals that come to each others aid . Each complementing the other.
Rachel has just returned from traveling the world and working as a temp. When she goes to her temp job nterview, she meets Bryce. A lawyer who has a baby in his office. A daughter he knew nothing about, and is now in his care. But not for long, if things goes his way.
But Rachel brings not only joy, but also a new light into Bryce’s life.
A delightful story for an afternoon of leisure.
