Things that go bump…

In the heat of summer in a London suburb, Mary can’t sleep because her new born and toddler won’t let her. Looking out into the quiet neighborhood, she believes that she sees something at the vacant house across the street. When Mary goes outside to investigate, she runs into another neighbor, fellow insomniac, and investigative journalist, Tim. Both see a girl in the attic window….a girl who has been missing. Except no one believes Mary and Tim and their independent search uncovers more than they bargained for, that could cost them their lives. Good story, although dragged a bit.

Hilarious mom of toddlers becomes femal sleuth

Light mystery, suspensful enough to need to know the ending with great comic relief from the main character. If you love female leads this is a winner

Very Interesting

This was a really great read. It kept me wanting to hear more!! I loved it!

Slow burn

I almost DNF. It was so drawn out and I guessed the twist. I guess i thought it would be more based around the friendship between the neighbors and their insomnia. I’m not sure if I’ll read another from this author.

Great Story

There definitely were more intriguing plot lines in this story and they were all woven together so well. Character development was excellent!

Narration was great as usual with this narrator!!

I really liked this book. Loved that it was told from different perspectives. Both Mary and Tim were very relatable.

I loved this author and the narrator! Every time I thought I knew who did it, there was a new twist and turn. I didn’t want to stop listening to this audiobook! I look forward to reading more from this author!

this was a very good book with a great plot and I really enjoyed listening to this. love the narrator she did a great job.
