Destiny is not in your hands

This is a beautifully written French "Cinderella" story. Angelique knew exactly who and what she wanted, but destiny had other plans for her. The twist at the end is beautiful.

I love Cinderella stories. This is one of the best I've heard!

YOUNG Woman Considers Visitation

A very young French woman learns about having goals in romantic relationships. Performed very well. If you are trying to include more classic works in your listening habits, this is a great choice at 53 minutes.

This is a short read but ended leaving me feeling happy, refreshed, and a smile on my fa e that lasted all evening!

GREAT PERFORMANCE

Fast pace,great characters and petty jealousies. A romance with humor and wit,heroine very adventurous. Ends with a twist. Fun read....narrator great.

It started out great...

Strong potential sadly cut short. It felt as though the author lost interest and just “wrapped it up”. I wish I had looked at the length before listening.

Delightful short story.

Just under 54 mins of audio, this delightful romance is sweet and Cinderella-like. It was a wonderful escape and filler between the longer stories I tend to listen to. If you are looking for a short, delightful and clean audible experience, this is it.

I thoroughly enjoyed Helen Taylor’s narration.

It seems almost scandalous to give a short novella an unequivocal 5-Star rating. But there it is. This book captured my heart, my imagination, and my desire for the HEA that I so desperately desired. I loved every moment of Angelique’s dreamy story. You will too!!

Very sweet story!

A very well done story with a hint of Cinderella-flavor to it! A little predictable, but a pleasurable ride regardless. I will definitely be looking for more by this author!

I quite liked this book. I would have liked for it to be longer. The climax and ending felt abrupt.
