I'm hooked on this author!

I love Elizabeth Boyle's writing style. She sees the humor in life and relationships and makes me laugh while wondering what will happen next! Her books are good reads!

A fun romp not to be missed

I loved this book. It was sweet and funny. The characters are lovable. It has the sweetest dog. I’m a sucker for animals and kids and at least one ornery elderly person. The only thing missing in this book was kids. But, no matter. Throw all those things together, give me story and a laugh and I’m you’re fan! It was also narrated by Susan Duerden who is always great. I don’t remember any bad words. 2 or 3 sex scenes after the couple was in love and tastefully done. (For those who like to know before picking a book.) No cliffhanger. The book prior to this was one was great but this is easily read as a stand alone.

Really fun story.

This is a really fun story. I really liked the Hero, Lord Henry and Heroine, Miss Daphne Dale. They made a great "match" wonderful chemistry between the two, A couple nicely written sex scenes. Daphne was a smart, witty, strong heroine, not a simpering whiny chit. Lord Henry a strong, handsome, smart, witty, wealthy second son\uncle to the Duke of Preston from the first book.

I enjoyed the story line and the plot, there was a lot of dialogue, throughout the book which was great. I really enjoyed a many of the secondary characters as well. Some funny moments in this book.

I have already started the third book in this series and am already enjoying it.

As for the narration. Its okay, its Susan Duerden who narrates with that sing song drawn out consonants at the end of her sentences. Really wish she would stop doing that. But she is tolerable, much better than some, ie Anne Flosnik who will ruin a book and I cannot listen to anything she narrates.

Fun story

This tale was interesting and did keep me guessing despite knowing what the outcome would be. I did not guess exactly how the ending would be accomplished.

Enjoying this series, comical, and witty with a bit of romance. Narrator brings the story to life.

what a yarn

we've heard this tale before...see Shop around the corner, You've got mail, add a little Hatfield's vs McCoy's then place it in regency times and you've got the premise. The difference is the writing, character development and the romance brought seamlessly to the fore. The narration is spot on.

An enjoyable book

This was a cute story. I like the correspondence aspect and I would have really liked to read more of the back and forth between the two of them and how they became closer to each other through their letters. I like this series as cute, easy to listen to books.

Excellent

This tale is seems like its going to be the standard romance. Its filled with twists and turns until the end. An original, I loved it.

Supremely funny romance

This was a laugh out loud, joy of a romance. The least likely suspects in this series to get into a pickle do while revisiting characters from previous books.
Loved it.

What a waste of a very funny book. I couldn't hang. The narrator was absolutely awful and she RUINED this hilarious book.
