A story that must be told…

But couldn’t have been told better? Honestly, I believe in telling the truth of historical oppression, and I commend the author for doing so, but this book moves very slowly, and it’s hard to get into. The parts of highest interest tend to be over so quickly with such a long descriptive narrative in between I can’t recommend it as a great read, but I do recommend it as a historical lesson to everyone!
