Very Informative

An interesting and informative look at some of the most difficult personalities we’re likely to encounter—and what makes them that way.

Useful study tool

I love this narrator's clarity of speech and tone. The book is current, succinct, and thought provoking. It offers practical knowledge of DMSM IV and diagnostic measurements to relevant case studies.

Great look at subclinical psychopathy

"At a time when the label 'psychopath' has devolved into a mere epithet, Schouten and Silver provide the understanding that comes from recent research in the field, as well as their many years of education, training, and clinical practice. Most importantly, their 'operational' approach to interactions with those who demonstrate psychopathic behaviors provides a primer for all who might otherwise fall prey to psychopathic behaviors of colleagues, co-workers, and yes, even family members."

Hardly Worth It

This book is mostly a waste of time--I got very little out of it. There are WAY better books out there on this subject, including: Healing From Hidden Abuse by Shannon Thomas (available on Audible)
