Now that I have that out of the way. . . .

Jeesh, who would have thought that aliens who are always hungry for porn, have numerous sex organs, and the ability to possess and use other creature's bodies could be so much fun? One thing I will say about Kent Hill, the man is utterly sick. Just look at his other works like Sword Dude I & II or Deathmaster. They are the work of a crazy person, someone who has been warped and bent by society to such a degree that he must channel his inner insanity onto paper to keep from losing his mind; sadly, his madness is contagious and once you are infected you will never be able to get his material out of your mind.

I could do a play by play of the book, but that isn't what you want. You want to know if it is original? Never seen or heard of anything like this. You want to know if it is funny? Think Blazing Saddles meets Debbie Does Dallas meets MArs Attacks (minus the attacks). I promise you will have never seen, read, or heard of anything like this before.

Quimby, heh quim, narrates this like he was reading you War and Peace, he is the consummate professional and never goes for the easy over the top rendition you might expect, but he makes it work nonetheless. I enjoyed his story telling alot, and think that he deserves some credit for maintaining a straight face (so to speak) as he read this material outloud.

I've only read a few things of Hill's, but I'm beginning to believe that he is the guy that wrote the list of ingredients on the chewing gum wrapper that Lex Luthor was talking about in Superman. Check this book out now. Even though I did receive a promo code for this review it in no way influenced my considerations of the material, and in fact, inspired me to be more honest. Getting a code generally makes me harsher as a reviewer as I am more often concerned what someone like Me will decide based on my review.

Too much rectal discharge for me.

All in all, I'm glad to have listened to this alien adventure. I am in to reading different genres lately. This one was not my thing and won't be in the future either. I chuckled, groaned, moaned my way through it. Strange characters. Raunchy events. Bloody happenings. Weird sex. Porn everywhere. A real wild, wild west!
The narrator was excellent. I'd listen to him again.

Comedic smut

I grabbed this book because I needed a good laugh. I didn't really get many laughs unfortunately. Too many terrible poop references and the rest of the book was just obscene. There really wasn't much of a story. I did enjoy the narration! The narrator was the only reason I kept listening.

A Barrel of Monkeys

You can't read the title of this book and honestly expect Shakespeare. You know exactly what you are getting into with a book like this and unless this style of book is to your taste, you are not going to like it and will most likely be offended. For that very reason I love these style of books and Kent Hill is able to tell an absolutely bizarre and nonsensical story that is a lot of fun to listen to which will totally gross you out. So put on your hat and spurs, kick your feet up, and enjoy the show.

David Quimby is an excellent narrator. His narration and character voices are top notch and I really just find his voice soothing. It almost throws me off because he narrates the obscene graphic nature of the book with a very calm voice that I feel would be better suited for children's books, but I'm really glad he narrates these as I really enjoy him.

Could not get into this

I could not get into this book, although I tried several times. Maybe later, I will relisten and, if necessary, update this review. David Quimby did an OK job with the narration. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
