Decent, but wishing it was more like the first book

I'm struggling to get through this one, which is sad after enjoying the first book so much. Dr. Teska just isn't as likable in this one, she comes across as abrasive and illogical. The side plots keep losing my interest and I wish the story focused more the case at the center and less on the musings of her personal life. That said still a decent read.

Loved how this went, I finally found an author that keeps you guessing who done it.

Sequel as good if not better than the first. Can’t wait to hear what happens next.

Always thrilled when I discover a new series involving a female as the sleuth. Can’t wait to listen to #1 and find out if there’s a #3

I enjoyed listening to the book. I wanted a nice non educational listen that was based on what could be true and I got it.
