Will my lack of experience cause me to freeze up when we go from inbox to in person? Or will a dreamy movie star melt my inhibitions and make all my secret New Year wishes come true?

Best Voice Cast

Well, Kayley Loring and a wonderful cast of narrators make it a necessity to rate this book Very Highly.

If you've read the Very Holiday books, you've already met our mfc - Piper Puckett - who has been writing in journals and diaries since she could hold a pencil. She is a BIG fan of Happy Ever Afters and also butts. She's been shipping family members with romantic interests for years, and now she's in her senior year at UCLA, planning to become a screenwriter some day. She's been crushing hard on Holden Archer for a long time, imagining that he's the man of her dreams.

Holden Archer has been entranced by Piper for 3 years, and he doesn't even know who she is. He found her super secret diary in a taxi one day in NYC, and created a gmail account so he could return it to her. He liked her wit and the way she used words, but they only emailed for a while before that faded into the background for a while. But 3 years later, he keeps seeing her, but never gets a chance to find out who she is.

There's no 3rd act breakup here - it's all good and compelling reading, drawing you in until the very last page.

I read this while simultaneously listening to the audible version and I can't express how wonderful the entire cast of voice actors is. Highly recommended and all of the Very Holiday series will be on my re-read every year list.

So cute!!

This book was so fun! I was smiling and giggling the whole time, made my heart so happy. Piper got her HEA with the best butt around, lol. The narrators were all wonderful, definitely brought so much heart and humor to this great story.

Amazing audiobook!!

Honestly, one of the most delightful stories filled with just the right amount of longing, missed connections, & fate intervening. And steam! Narration was perfection & I didn’t want it to end.

Piper’s Book!

We’ve seen Piper throughout this series and she’s finally old enough to get her own book! I love how grown up Piper still has the lovable attitude and perspective on life that she has had since childhood. She deserves finding a HEA with a great butt who gets along with all the crazy men in her family and that’s exactly what she gets with Holden Archer;)

Fantastic happily ever after to one of the most romantic characters on the series. though De still owes her a car and a house.
The narrators do a great job bringing these characters to life, enhancing the listening and and experiences.

I love Piper's story!

We finally get Piper's story and it was everything I needed it to be! She has been such a wonderful character throughout the series. Her love story really couldn't have happened any other way. Great story, great humor, and excellent narration!

Cheeky and fun

Adored the narration. Fans of Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke will enjoy this romcom a lot. I sure did!

I liked the story, but I’ll be honest, the virgin trope is not a favorite of mine. And while I love the character of Piper, she did feel childish at times.

Still, the chemistry of Holden and Piper was really nice. I liked the “almost” instances they had. Kayley wrote those well and I loved the weaving in of the entertainment industry.

The story was easy to consume and I liked that. Team Piper forever!

Fun!

This was a lot of fun and the performances were top notch. So many characters performed by Connor Crais which were an absolute hoot. What a fun listen!

Amazing story

I absolutely loved this audiobook so much and already re-listened a few times. Erin Mallon’s performance as Piper was perfect, Jason Clarke as Holden totally swoon worthy and Connor Crais as the rest of the guys was amazing. All these narrators brought Piper’s story to life in all the best way.
