By placing the interior of their spacecraft - and its passengers - in stasis, they can accelerate launches at 15 gravities, reaching orbital speeds before the craft leaves the rail. This lets them put payloads in orbit for a thousand times lower cost than a rocket.

Great fun

The whole series has been fun. I like having so far there's not space-based for once.

Great story!!

This is just the latest in a terrific series. Laurence Dahners has a bunch of wonderful books through out of his series. I eagerly wait for my next fix!!

Fun story.

This is a good addition to the stasis series. Light, with a good ending. Enjoyed it.

Entertaining and thought provoking

Engaging story. The author really stepped up the quality of storytelling in this book. It makes the reader sad to see how effective, reasonable and self aware a US president could be compared to the current occupant.

A lot of pushed inequalities

I live in the area where this takes place. The concept and referred science peaked my inner nerd. I felt the inequality and assumptions were very over the top and took away from the story a little. It won’t keep me from listening to the series though.
