Acerca de esta escucha

New York Times bestselling author of Furyborn, Claire Legrand, enchants with a lush, steamy enemies to lovers fantasy romance perfect for fans of Bridgerton and A Court of Thorns and Roses.

THE OLD WAR IS OVER. A NEW ONE IS JUST BEGINNING.

The curse plaguing the Ashbourne and Bask families has finally been broken, but Farrin, the eldest Ashbourne daughter, still struggles to find peace. Unflappable and tireless, her composure masks a seething sorrow. Since her mother abandoned the family, Farrin has been their rock—managing her father’s temper, running the estate, keeping tight control over her dangerous musical power, and ignoring her own need for rest, distraction, and most of all, love.

In Ryder Bask, Farrin’s stubborn strength has met its match. The man infuriates her. He’s coarse, arrogant, annoyingly handsome. He’s as tired of their feuding parents as she is, and he brims with some secret anger that mirrors Farrin’s frustrated rage.

But Farrin must work with every ally she can—even the man she has been raised to hate. With every rising dawn, the Middlemist weakens further. Anointed magicians are disappearing. A fiery Olden creature is stalking Farrin. Strange visions haunt the High Queen Yvaine. And as Farrin and Ryder race to find stolen loved ones, they begin to realize a horrifying truth:

The gods are not dead. They’re waking up. And someone is hunting them.

Reseñas de la Crítica

"A Song of Ash and Moonlight sets achingly genuine characters against a stunning world and lush mythos, expertly counterbalanced by a heart-wrenchingly sweet romance. Claire Legrand is a master of sweeping, intricate fantasy." (Sara Raasch, New York Times bestelling author of Night of the Witch)

Loved this book even more than the first! But the interchange between ch16 to ch17 is cut off??

Amazing!

Claire Legrand is the most detail oriented writer I’ve read in such a long time! There’s nothing to compare to her books. The entire plot, characters, its own global lay-lands, and extreme detail to everything is impeccable! It’s a must read and I’ll give nothing away because I simply can’t ruin the exciting, encumbered read you’re in for!

The most fascinating ,exhilarating, and complicated trilogy written! Leaves you needing more!

I enjoyed the 1st book in this trilogy but I did find Gemma to be a bit immature and kind of a door mat. I hoped the second book would allow for deeper character development, however, it's not the case. Of the 3 sisters, Farin is the least likeable. id go as far as saying she might be the least likeable main character I've ever read and that's decades of reading this genre. the world is unique, the story has so much potential; but this character is ruining all the good parts for me. she's inconsistent and rude, she's angry, cold and hard, but also lacks any warmth to draw a reader in. I don't want her to win, she's not redeemable. hope I can finish and change this opinion but I don't think it's possible.

good story, but the main character is killing me

Evelyn Rose’s reading gives Clair Legrand’s massive, wonderful work it’s due. This book is full of twists and turns, engaging characters, and a storyline that is imaginative and inventive.

Another best read
