Just confused why the boyfriend’s name is suddenly different…

It’s fine. But almost like it was written by someone different from the other episodes.

Who is Fred?

A good story, as usual, but why did the boyfriend's name change? Who is Evan, the artist?

What happened to Evan?

It is so confusing why Evan’s name changed from Evan to Fred. Same author and same reader… very confusing ti make changes at book 9.

Not continuing with the series

There are so many issues with this. Boyfriend’s name suddenly changes from Evan to Fred. I don’t remember a cafe being on the other side of the pub, the narrators is quite sing-song and some of the accents and character voices are poorly done, the story arcs from the other books are lost. It almost seems as though AI wrote this and the author didn’t review the writing. I’ve been able to tolerate the narration when the story was interesting, and consistent, but sadly, this will be my last listen in this series.

Utterly Stupid and Unexplained Name Changes

Will no longer purchase books by this author. There is an unexplained name change of Nathalie’s boyfriend in Book 9 which makes no sense. Also the name of the coroner and name of her grocery store change, again, without explanation. There are plenty of complaints about this but the author hasn’t bothered to come forward with an explanation or and apology. She will not be getting any more money from me. I am boycotting a lazy author, a lousy editor and a witless narrator who just carries on as though nothing is “off”. Ridiculous and insulting to fans. There are plenty of other Cozy Mysteries to read, but not from this hack.
