I haven't found one of Karen Kingsbury books that I don't like and this one didn't dissapoint me.

Love

I loved it and would be reading more of Karen’s books. I have been reading her for years.

Beautiful story of how God can work everything out for our good and His glory

Lost sleep over this one!

I usually check the reviews ahead of time to make sure that what I'm about to listen to doesn't have sex scenes that are inappropriate. I felt this book was written to honor God's principles in this area. It was SO GOOD that I keep listening to it late into the night, in fact to the early mornings, finally I just had to find out the ending so I skipped ahead and then went back and filled in the story! I highly recommend this audio book.

Beautiful book

Very well narrated. Beautiful story of love forgiveness and the love of God that always sees us through.

A Moment of Weakness

Very much enjoyed Barbara Caruso as a narrator. Empathetic with characters. Even though a person confesses to be a christian doesn't mean that christian can't make a mistake. After all, even Jesus said "He who is without sin cast the first stone" Story shows mistakes and forgiveness through it all. Enjoyed it.

Great is Thy Faithfullness

Great narration. Excellent plot. Very well written. God is so present throughout the entire book.

Human nastiness meets God’s ultimate faithfulness

The story has ugly gossip and hatefulness at the outset, followed by a passionate exchange of kisses (in another scene) that is neither overtly vulgar or sexual. One can imagine the “moment of weakness” and then a well-worked story that involves searches for God, for justice and redemption on both human and spiritual levels. A good read at a time when many are looking for examples of God’s faithfulness.

Gripping!

Would you consider the audio edition of A Moment of Weakness to be better than the print version?

Yes. The narration pulled you into the story and made you want to find a way to peak into the future.

What about Barbara Caruso’s performance did you like?

The fluxing of her voice.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely. But at other times I wanted to chew on what I had heard to try to figure out what would happen next.

Any additional comments?

This was an excellent example of how God's plan comes together. We are the ones who mess up His timing because of our own desires. But, He is so awesome, in that, when He wants to bless us - He does! I love it when He looks beyond my humanity and showers me with His grace and mercy. Amen
