Great to see everyone again

I love the Vested Interest series so much that seeing the kids grown up is a real thrill. This prequel to the ABC Corp series lets us get glimpses into their lives as adults plus cameos of the characters from Vested Interest. It is so sweet to see everyone happy. I am very excited that this is an audiobook now because we get to hear John Lane and Maxine Mitchell voice all these favorite characters. There are lots of funny moments and touching moments as well as some hints about where the new series is going.

𝐀 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐕𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 is the prequel for the Vested Interest ABC Corp series by Melanie Moreland. I’m still working my way through Melanie’s extensive backlist, so I jumped on this audio narrated by John Lane and Maxine Mitchell to give me a fun introduction to this series’ 2nd generation perspective, given that I loved the Contract series and this world does connect to that. Even with my lack of specific knowledge with many of the characters, I found them all to be so compelling and relatable. I loved the banter, the obvious love between Brayden and Addison, the holiday charm, and the hilarious family antics and drama. I so wish I had the time right now to read/listen Grace’s story! Wowza! As far as narration, you can’t go wrong with John Lane and Maxine Mitchell as a pairing. They can embody comedy, emotion, drama, or passion, whatever a story calls for. I’m always excited to see their names listed.

a great prequel novella

This was a cute little holiday novella to start off the ABC Corp series. The main focus is on Brayden and Addison as they show flashbacks to them falling in love, while they exist in the current day, leading up to (and including) their wedding and beyond.

This was adorable, cheesy, full of sweet moments, deep family ties, and a great nod to the next book in the series, with the mess that Gracie got herself into with her disgruntled boss.

The narrators also did a great job at bringing the story to life, and I look forward to hearing more from them!

this is a very romantic short story and it gives you an insight to Gracie's story also.

Perfect Christmas Wedding

I read this one in 2022 and listening to it now in 2025 was freaking perfection.

Reading about their parents and their love stories was amazing. Reading about the second gen now was Wow! Addison and Brayden are so cute together, their love, their wedding was magical! So perfect! From BAM to ABC Corp! Amazingly Beautiful! Narrators like always perfect performance.
