Another great one from Helena. Jake and Hannah’s story was just what I needed. Love all the characters and how they interact throughout the series.
Would highly recommend this to anyone. Great job! The narrators were freaking amazing as well!

Dreams come true

Amazing storyline that brought two 40's parents together accidentally and then share a baby. I loved Jake and his care for Hannah. The narrators were perfect for this story. I will keep this book to listen to later.

A reverse age gap romance

A sweet story of the mother of a hockey player who had her son Ryan when she was a young teen but he didn’t know that Hannah was his mother when Hannah’s parents raised them as brother and sister. Her son married Queenie, the daughter of the GM for Seattle’s hockey team. Hannah meets Jake while helping the planning of Ryan & Queenie’s wedding. Hannah and Jake grow close and become more intimate with each other. Hannah who is nearing middle age is shocked when she becomes pregnant as she thought her shot at true motherhood would never happen. Jake, who raised Queenie on his own, is there to support her every step of the way before declaring his love.

A new journey at an older age

A mature journey of two adults who need to figure out what they mean to each other and how they’re going to raise a child with other life factors to take into consideration.

Loved Hanna & Jakes Romance!

Oh my sweet Lord! I LOVED this book!!! I went back and relistened to the first 3 books in the series and by the time I got to this one I was totally immersed in the Hockey and character world.
I adored Jake and Hanna's relationship. How they worked SO hard to communicate and take care of each other's emotional health.
I also loved that Hanna was an "older" mom. That she found a way to forgive herself and move forward from the events that had happened in her teen years.
I love surprise pregnancy trope and this book is exactly why.
Also, Narrators did an EXCELLENT performance!!!
