An abused, grief-stricken, and impoverished Sonny has all but given up on life. That is, until he meets death, by way of the Grim Reaper. Really enjoyed this story! It was creepy but also humorous at times. A little gory but not too bad. Sometimes the pacing of the reading seemed a little off but the voice(s) were so great and held my attention! Definitely NOT monotone or hard to listen to. I really enjoyed this!

This was a fast-paced, satisfying story about a boy and his 10-day dance with the Grim Reaper, love, and grief. Excellently voiced.

It’s as if Stephen king wrote a short underdeveloped Harry Potter. It was just fine an often the dialogue of the grim reaper was fantastic.
