The reason the book covers both dimensions is that understanding both is the only way to comprehend the way the universe works as a whole. Some theories explain the workings of the grand scale of the universe, and others explain the workings of the minute scale, but they tend to contradict one another. And, currently, there is no theory that explains both....

Beware, this book is not A Brief History of Time. If I could return this book I would, even for no points, just to get it out of my library. It is literally a joke. 1 minute summaries of each chapter? Cannot believe I was conned into buying a book on Amazon. How dare you fool people into buying your trash.

This is not the book. This is a crappy summary of the book. Not wirth your time.

Misleading.

As a scientist Hawking never presented any findings as fact. He would say that the evidence suggests a Big Bang. Not that the universe “started”with a Big Bang. That is presenting it as fact which only belongs in the realm of Religion.

Very Misleading - NOT THE ACTUAL BOOK

Well that was $4 wasted. This is a 25 minute review of the book and what it contains. If you’re interested in A Brief History of Time, you probably already know the contents of the review (who the author is, what the book sets out to do, and the theories/hypotheses that are discussed).
