Great series!
I have throughly enjoyed listening to an example of the hardships and challenges of our early settlers. Somehow they were able to keep God alive in their hearts.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Disappointed in the reader, because she has a calm voice and doesn't seem to change voices when it's another character. Loved the storyline, sorry it's over.

Sadness
I love going back to Blessing with my favorite characters. I am sad that this is the end of their stories. There's many more stories that can be told. This author is my favorite historical author because of these characters. I did see more than friendship between Ingabord and David throughout the series. Even though I was upset that Hakaan had passed, I'm glad that the two came to each other.

Fantastic Series - an Historical Treasure
I read or listened to every book, and now this one twice. I've enjoyed the stories, cried over parts, and gained spiritual truth.
I even now know how to make a sod house. My grandfather spent a winter in a sod house in Colorado, so this was a special read in the early books.
The span of time covering sod busting to electricity in the home and automobiles is an interesting read.
