I love all in this story

I have listened to this series more than once. Never disappointed in the presentation and enjoyed the way God was involved withe their every day life.

I enjoyed this story from beginning to end. The presentation was lovely. I like that faith in God was threaded throughout the story as part of daily life.

As always, Lauraine delivers a great story. A trouble making younger brother forces a family to make tough decision about how to keep themselves safe. Set between Ohio and Nebraska, the woman of the family face obstacles that means never would have dreamed of.

Enjoyable

I love historical fiction. I know life was much harder for so many other that chose to pioneer, but it’s okay with me to dial down the darkness a bit. I’ll definitely continue to book 2.

Outstanding Plot

I like that Lark’s character adapted to survive and to help her sisters. All the characters were amazing. You must read it to experience your own joy in reading this book.

Very nice faith based story!

I love faith based audio books. This one had tragedy and triumph. The characters were strong women yet soft and tender. Enjoy!

Excellent story and superb narration! My favorite book since the Red River original series by Lorraine.

Not too mushy

I liked the story line, the characters, and the drama. I liked the villains but must have missed what happened to them. I kept thinking they would pop up somewhere unexpectedly.
