Lorraine Snelling does an amazing job of taking you to the historical errors. She weaves faith into the lives of people that come alive in the pages. The voice of Stina Nielsen has narrated so many of her books that listening to her narrate brings comfort to my soul.

But you have to read two more books to get an ending. The author did an excellent job explaining how ranchers survived before the automobile and the telephone were common to rural South Dakota.
