They are acting out of instinct because that is all they know. As their parent, it is your job to lift them up and show them the way. If they have low self-esteem, you need to push them up. If they lack focus, you need to guide them to find it. With effective strategies, you can implement in your daily lives, managing ADHD can be achievable.

Great Informative Book
This book is very informative on some of the things that should be done for children with ADHD. It is a great read, especially in the beginning of learning of the disability. It gives great references & quotes to remember. I do find the main statement of "Parent the child you have" to be the ultimate favorite phrase/statement in the book of all! The audible reader is clear and precise although I feel it lacked emotion of any kind behind the words and sounded very "clinical." I would still recommend it just made the book seem to take forever to finish.

recommend this book to any parent
this book gave me a lot of information, insight and techniques on how to establish a strong relationship with my kid, how to handle uncomplience, how to let the kids learn from their failures,....most of them are useful for any parent whether his/her kid has or does not have ADHD.
