I really enjoyed reading this author.  I look forward to reading more books by this author in the near future.

Delightful

I don’t usually choose a book with a male narrator but I’m so glad I did in this case. His POV is critical throughout and his dry and droll delivery of the wit and sarcasm is spot on! This is the story of teenage love cruelly separated when the boy’s family is suddenly put into the Witness Protection Program. Ten years pass before the childhood friends and lovers see each other again. No spoilers but it’s a great second chance romance and a delightful audiobook due to the great narration.

Pleasantly Surprised

I rarely enjoy emotionally charged romances & even rarer, a small town second chances story. But this story had a crazy unique spin, adults behaving as adults, LOTS of fabulous dry humor, delivered beautifully by the narrator and not the typical HEA which was even more satisfying to me. I really enjoyed the solo pov from the guy versus the girl, which also surprised me in the best way. Bravo

Loved the story line

The story has lots of humor and maybe even some tears to shed. Good narration.

Wow

This is just great all the way round. Heartbreak is at a med low. Humor is at a all time high. Love scenes are HOT but not to descriptive for the faint of heart. You can feel the friendship and love they share. True soul mates without it being thrown in your face. I will be re-reading/listening to this one again.

Idk what I was expecting but this book was so cute!!! A unicorn m/f book told only from the MMC's pov, with him being a simp from page 1! The audiobook narrator was also great!

OK my honest opinion initially it started off good and then I took a nose dive. But I kept going and it did takeoff and I love the final product. I can’t wait to finish the series.

I loved this story

Wow! First time reading this author - let me say how great was reading the entire story from the guys POV! I wasn’t sure if I would like that or if a dude could carry the entire story arc - Kelly Siskind is a master and pulled it off. The perfect blend of a guys rough edges soften through the lense of true love.

Narration was top shelf too. The second book in this series is in my queue ready to go as soon as I finish this review!

Highly recommend!

Fantastic Second-Chance Romance

Wow! 50 Ways to Win Back Your Lover is an incredible series beginning! Kelly Siskind has written part romcom, part heartbreaking drama, and all heart in this fantastic second-chance romance. This story had me in stitches from page one, and made me low-key bawl time and again.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first person POV as told from the hero’s perspective. John Lane gives a phenomenal performance as Edgar Bower. His range of personality from awkward, self-deprecating goofball to impassioned man fighting for his lost love is captivating. John perfectly depicts this tragic, emotionally raw, and heartwarming story of young love lost and fresh starts. John’s solo narration brings Kelly’s words to life beautifully. His low, gruff timbre is well-fitted to the lovelorn Edgar. Kelly Siskind and John Lane have served up a flawless audiobook that will rip your heart out and piece you back together.
