Ever since last year when I found a great deal on flights to Puerto Rico, I’ve wanted to send my parents on a trip there as a gift, and started saving up for this. But despite a quick google search which revealed that Puerto Rico is an affordable vacation spot, I really had no idea what type of budget would be needed, or what kinds of activities my parents might enjoy there.

Now, thanks to this audiobook, I can confidently help my parents plan their most unique vacation ever, knowing that even my limited budget can cover the costs for them to have a truly magical and memorable time away.

Some of the unexpected details that delighted me were that the author shares which spots have wonderful opportunities for photo shoots and selfies! This is something I never would have thought to include in a travel guide, even though it is so important for memories to look back on and one of the major things my mom loves to do with dad or any friend or family member. So being able to help her plan this ahead is amazing!

The coffee tours and plantations will be right up my dad’s alley, both the opportunity to learn about history and coffee production as well as taste authentic Puerto Rico in a cup. Both my parents will love visiting waterfalls and places of historical and cultural interest.

I enjoyed this audio.
We will be stopping in San Juan on a cruise ship this fall and
am looking forward to it after reading this book.
It is an excellent resource for fun things to do in Puerto Rico.
The detailed descriptions add a dimension to travel books sometimes lacking,
from beaches to cities, and especially when it came to food.
Good format and I liked the “best time to visit” sections too.
