We could've had a better world

I'll be honest -- this is a tough listen. Circumstances did Harris dirty at every turn, and it's the country that suffers as a result. It's heartbreaking to imagine what might have been -- what should have been, if we weren't so stubbornly mired in second and racism. Harris deserved better, and so did the country. This behind the scenes window into her short, hopeful campaign is, I suppose, a necessary companion to the history others will write about it. That doesn't make it any easier to listen to, though, as good as it is.

Wonderful self- reflection, straight talk & answers! Story of an amazing American woman!!

I disliked nothing! I loved how Former VP Harris laid-out her story about the most important presidential campaign in history!!

Good perspective

I appreciate reading things from her point of view. I appreciate hearing both sides of the story.

Candid, excruciating and hopeful

It helps to have Kamala narrate her story and hear her voice. Her 107 day journey depicted the horrendous pressure she was going through peppered with relatable details that kept the story engaging and authentic.

Grace. Honesty. Integrity. An American Woman, a Leader with Heart and Strength for ALL AMERICANS. A must read for all!

Incredible book with so many insights. Fair and balanced assessment of those 107 days. So much info and facts that really put much into perspective. Thoroughly enjoyed this book and am heartbroken at where we are as a country today. Where we could have been breaks my heart. Good luck madame vice president! Will be following to see what’s next. 107 days wasn’t enough

How did we fumble such an important election. VP Harris was more than qualified. She was right. About everything.

We know how it ends, but this tells us why

It was a good listen, never boring, and answered most all my questions about “why didn’t they do ……”, but the one I really wanted the answer to was, why not to let a Palestinian woman who was prepared to endorse Harris speak at the Democratic National Convention? That was absolutely mind-bendingly stupid. Apart from that omission, the story was warm, candid, and funny. Her reaction to the loss at the end exactly the same as mine - what will happen to the world now? How can the world survive both global warming and the end to democracy’s grand experiment in America as it has in so many other countries? No thought for what it meant to her personally. I thought Biden was a good, effective president and probably the ONLY person who could have pulled us out of COVID with an economy that was, truly, the envy of the world; but It’s clear that had he worked from the beginning of his presidency towards the goal of having Harris succeed him after four years, that would be our reality today. Instead we are facing the abyss with the Mad King behind us wielding a cattle prod. And it’s Joe Biden’s fault.

I really appreciated this book. The honest story that brought the hope, joy, disappointment and strength of her campaign in our view was compelling. I got to know Kamala Harris more than a campaign allows. Thank you for sharing this story.

Kamala’s Perspective

I thoroughly enjoyed hearing Kamala’s perspective in her own words. This book is thoughtfully written and gives the reader/listener a behind the scenes look at everything that transpired during Kamala’s 107 day campaign for President. I would 100% recommend listening.
