Sista Love was a chart-topping girl group that had it all - fame, fortune, and failure. Harmony, Melody, and Lyric haven't seen each other since their group broke up three years ago, but when tragedy strikes, the sisters have no choice but to face each other again.

Harmony retreated from the limelight and lives a modest life in the suburbs with her new husband, an ex-child star and recovering drug addict. Harmony wants nothing more than to be a wife and mother, but when news of her mother's sudden death forces her and her sisters back together, she will have to confront a painful past that she tried desperately to leave behind.

Melody abandoned her sisters for a solo career and is now a wealthy megastar who tours the world, buys whatever her heart desires, and lives in the spotlight. The world loves her, and her fans worship her. She usually stops at nothing to get what she wants. Just as she gets set to kick off her 1 Night Stand Tour, news of her mother's death derails her plans and forces her to confront the one thing all of her money can't erase - her sisters and her past.

Lyric has been reduced to a D-list celebrity trying to make it back to the top. She lives for the rush of the nightlife and would do anything for attention. When she gets word of her mother's death, Lyric's painful past and an unwanted reunion with her sisters send her spiraling out of control.

Will the Love sisters let their past hurt, lies, and deceit destroy them, or will they manage to put it all behind them and be a family once and for all?

Wish I could say the same for the narration. But it was a little too much ASMR for me.

Patricia Floyd did the damn thang with the narration. She is the reason I kept listening to the story because her voice is so lively. This book here is something else and I will mos def have to listen to the next one. It wasn't the type of book that captures your soul, but it does make you feel certain ways about the characters. Harmonie was my fave LOVE sister. I feel that she represents myself the most in this book. This book is full of flashback memories of a time they once knew. The twist at the end was perfect because it captivates you to want more. Overall this book was ok. The story is well put together. Also let me point out that UBER is not a service that you can have them take you somewhere and you have to pay the driver once you get there. Lyric was riding around in a UBER and didn't have no money. That is false in order to get an UBER you have to have a form of payment attached in order to get a ride to where you need to go. I'm just saying cause I am a UBER driver and I can speak on that right there.

1 book full of memories

I didn’t like the way the book ended without a part 2!
It left me wondering which one of her daughters killed Ava if either!

Abuse, rape, colorism, self-loathing, mental health crisis, drug use, adultry, deceit, greed, desire, hate, lust, sex, scandal, guilt, shame... you name it, this book has it. I did not like the mother Ava and felt she was better off dead. She did so much damage to her children. Melody was just like her mother and damaged goods so much so that she was hateful, lonely, and masked pain by hurting others. This book was a good read and the narrator was superb.

This story is crazy
