Weirdo old men

This book could have delved into the history of the mom more. Why she did the things she did to her own daughters??!

Highly disappointed, way to much recaps. Wish it would've taken a different tone 😪

It’s a repeat

It’s honestly just a repeat of book 1
It literally kept repeating stuff from book 1 which was annoying.

Waste of time

First book ended with a cliffhanger, yet it’s barely even touched on until ending of this book. All the reviews about the repetitive and drawn out flashbacks are spot on!! No need to read the first book bc this one will summarize it all. I didn’t see the need for multiple narrators, especially whoever read for Lyric… sounds like she was literally READING. I skipped over a lot of her portion bc I just couldn’t take it. Speaking of Lyric, between the horrible narration and her unnecessarily graphic and unrelated storyline, consider this to be your trigger warning

I truly enjoyed this book I cant wait for the book 3. I hope it will be on audible

book 2 repeated book 1 it kept dragging on and on.... good plot but too much repeating!

Repetitive

About 80% of the book was an exact word for word reprint of book one. Whenever any of the characters reflected on something that occurred in the first book the author copied the whole dialogue instead of rewording or summarizing. The storyline that was new to book 2 was decent but could have been added as a few chapters to book 1. Due to the repetitiveness I skipped over scenes that occurred in book 1. Of the three narrators I only was able to bear listening to only one.

Wasted Time

This book contains a lot of fillers. There where whole chapters that were repeated from the first book. I’m not sure if a 3 book would be necessary based off this book.

Make it Make Sense

It's a waste of time to go through this book only to leave us with yet another cliffhanger, AND THERE IS NO NEXT BOOK....

Flashback Book

I LOVED book 1 of this series and impatiently awaited book 2. While the story was still good, there were just too many flashbacks. I found myself skipping through them, because they were word for word from the previous book...and there were just too many. it felt like half of this book was from the previous. I would have much rather gotten more details about what Melody was going through in jail or what Gary was doing with her money or how Ava Love was really poisoned and her state of mind at the time.
