strong FMC, spicy and good narrators. Was so happy to come full circle with Mickey's storyline. Loved the action, and alllll the spice. Also, dealing with mental illness in a real way. This author knows how to entertain and make you feel all the feelings.

This was INTENSE like EXTREMELY with what she went through. It was very uncomfortable at all times but the reality is to this caliber and the writer did an excellent job depicting the narrative.

NOW, the voice narrators are good because I have heard them on a few reads. but not for this book. the guy narrator i was expecting more of a Braxton or dean voice rather then a very soft melancholy voice. also wasn't very expressive.

HOWEVER, I ENJOYED THIS WHOLE SERIES A TON AND CANNOT WAIT FOR MY NEXT READ FROM THIS AUTHOR.

Great change in the storyline. Gets even steamer with the bedroom going to even the next level. Awesome twist in change in characters and unexpected character coming back.

I have been waiting to hear Micki’s story since I started this series and it didn’t disappoint!! I absolutely loved everything about this book! Such a wonderful love story and I’m glad she got her revenge on those who harmed her!! Amazing!!!

I have read all 7 books in the sick boy series and I didn’t think it could get better. Book 7 is definitely top tier, love the story and love the narrators !!

I had been patiently waiting for Luc’s story and the way it played out with Micki was PERFECT. Dare I say I loved their story almost as much as Ava and Dean? I’d say it’s a close second for sure. Luc has been so misunderstood over the course of the series and I was pulling for him so hard. My poor Micki. The things that poor girl has been through!? Unfathomable….but the way she was such a BADDIE in spite of it all!?!? I loved them both so much. Such a hard fought and well deserved happy “enough” ending for them. I say that because of how it all played out, I wouldn’t call it an HEA by any means, but that’s what makes it great. 5/5 stars!

This story took me on a wild ride from beginning to end and I was speechless more than once, in the best way possible. The author threw a curveball in pretty early on which shocked me, so I was quickly curious to find out how the story would go for Luc and Micki, the MMC and FMC. Needless to say, I kept wanting more and couldn't stop listening! The author wrote the FMC and MMC in a way that I truly understood their personalities, their struggles, and all of the many emotions they were feeling. Their internal dialogues about life or each other sometimes... Whew. 😕💔 There are intense and dark situations throughout the entire book, and I couldn't help but have compassion for the FMC and MMC as they faced some very painful and frustrating challenges. In the midst of the chaos, I was delighted to see some delicious spicey scenes between the FMC and MMC so it helped break up the darker times. And their chemistry is hot! 🔥

As Micki says in the book synopsis, "now I’m back, and I'm the last consequence they’ll ever see." It was so satisfying to see her reappear and I was her biggest cheerleader screaming "YES!" as she sought well-deserved vengeance. And that girl has some imagination on how she did it (no spoilers on why and how! 😉). The Epilogue was wonderful and I enjoyed how the author portrayed a realistic scenario of present day, and not a "by the book" HEA that is easily predictable.
 
I have not read the earlier books in the series, but I was able to follow and keep up with the story. I plan to read the rest of the series since I really enjoyed this one!
 
The narration by Alyssa Avery and Ash Beverly was flawless! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Alyssa's depiction of Micki really let me hear the heartbreak and struggle in her voice during dark periods, but also her sheer determination and strength as she fought back for herself. Then Ash Beverly truly made me feel every one of Luc's emotions. He was incredible portraying Luc's more sensitive side with his intense devotion to Micki and the passion he felt for her. And his voice did not skip a beat to show the devastation and resentment that Luc faced. Alyssa and Ash truly took on roles of Micki and Luc, and made me feel connected to them as if they were real people telling me their story!
