I truly just love the way QB writes taboo. This was angsty, emotional and so hott. This book came very close to stealing the number one spot from What Was Meant To Be for me (JP & Whit are still my favorites but I love Cal and Madeline so much)!

This gave me all the taboo and forbidden vibes I needed (emphasis on very taboo and very forbidden!) The last 20% of the book was absolutely wild and unexpected and I really did not know what was going to happen next which was a fantastic surprise. QB’s book are typical character and relationship heavy & I love it, but the plot twist in this was an added bonus!

The audiobook for this is chefs kiss and one of my new favorites, Christopher Fox and Addison Barnes did amazing as these characters and really brought the story to life!

I love Christian Fox... best narrator ever. He brought this book to life. I could seriously listen to him read a phone book. The ending was so unexpected and incorporated another layer to an already great story. This love is slippery and could've ruined them, but I was rooting for them the whole time!

This audio was super well done! Both of the narrators did an excellent job bringing the two main characters to life & taking the listener on the emotional rollercoaster that is their story.

I’m a huge QB Tyler fan, & it’s apparently this books 5 year anniversary & there will be new epilogue this week so I took it as a good time to read & listen it.

I personally really enjoyed it, but I don’t mind taboo (guardian from young age/age gap) & I can separate fiction from real life right & wrong. It’s definitely taboo though, so if that’s not your thing, this isn’t the one for you 🙃

This one was super emotional, as well as extremely spicy (once again, if taboo isn’t your thing, walk away). The struggle of Cal & Maddie with their feelings & emotions & what it would mean for them as well as their loved ones was such a rollercoaster. Also, there was a super unexpected suspenseful twist towards the later part of the book that wasn’t even on my radar.

All in all, I enjoyed it & loved the epilogue with the look into their future.
