Now suddenly my world is spinning, and she's shoving a baseball back in my hand while baking cookies with my grandmother. She's the devil and an angel all in one fiery little package. I decide I'll wait her out. She'll go back to the city. Only suddenly I don't want her to leave, and everything I’ve settled for in my life isn't enough. I want to play ball and I want her, but there's that secret that won't let go, but neither will she.

This story was really cute. You are going to want to kick a certain cowboy in the arse. At the same time you are laughing with Jessica and Grandma.

The book is wonderful. Fast paced, romantic, typically angsty, but not overdone. And, of course, you can’t go wrong with Sebastian York and Andi Arndt.

Not what I expected, in the best way

I can’t put my finger on exactly what I felt was lacking in this book because all the elements were there and so maybe it was just me. Narration was great as always- I think it was how the chapters were broken up, it was good but it didn’t hit the fifth star level for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌹🌹🌹🌹

This was a great love story. The moody cowboy and the spunky clunky city girl. Predictable but nonetheless a fun read.

I’ve been listening to a lot of these books and this was one of the best I’ve heard in a long time. As always, great narration.

Entertaining read that moves at a fairly fast pace. I really liked the h for 80% of the book but she went a bit off the rails at the last stress point... But she redeems herself.

I really love the concept of this book! What a brilliant story this was to listen too! I’m on my own healing journey right now so it only took me about a day worth to finish this but it was so thrilling and the anticipation I had to find out what would happen next. I want a sequel 🥹
