I actually slowed this audiobook down to savor the tension. It’s so good and I especially loved the sense of suspense and “what’s going to happen next!?!?” vibes.
Yes, this is a slow burn but there are still some very steamy scenes!
I loved Quinn as the FMC - she was smart and strong and so sassy! Her internal dialogue had me laughing out loud. Her friendship with Gia is perfect.
Oh Landon…I loved him so much. Underneath his brooding exterior I got cinnamon roll vibes. Kingston has been tough to figure out so far - I don’t know what his end game is yet. Max gives off villain vibes, but we start to see a little behind his walls - I think there is so much more to him!

In Camelot Court are Kingston D’Arthur and his knights, Landon Scott and Max Dread. While the Quest plays out for the Maidens so does a bitter rivalry between the three men.
When I read this book, I didn’t think it could get any better, but I was wrong. Listening to the narration took this book to a whole new level. Page, Harding, Sinclair, and Owens do a phenomenal job at voicing their characters and pulling you into the world of Camelot Court. They did so well that even knowing what happens at the end, I was shocked all over again.
If you want an immersing story that takes you into a world of powerful men steeped in steam, intrigue, and hidden agendas and one woman who just might be willing to burn it all down, the King’s Maiden and the Camelot Court series is not one you want to miss.

I loved this audio book, The story was interesting, with taking a twist of camelot, a university setting, and a secret society, then twisting them all together to get this story that grabbed your attention from the beginning. I really loved Quinn's development the most, she started rather subdued but when push came to shove she never let someone just speak down to her and stood up for herself. I have...mixed feelings about the MMC's. Kingston, you can tell that he has genuine intentions but is stuck in a tough spot. Max is just a douche, but I can't wait to dive into his story more and I think that will happen in the next. Lastly, Landon, oh Landon. He's the mystery one, but not really...iykyk. He's so sweet and his devotion to Kingston is clear with his choices, but it doesn't seem like he has a choice??? I NEED to know what Kingston DOESSS. There isn't a lot of spice in this one, its a slow burnn. But I have a feeling there will be more in the next ones and I can't wait to see how this next step in the Quest will go!

The narrators are so perfect for the trio and the queen. I adore the depth they all brought to their characters. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Story:
Quinn is a bit hard to take with her constant hypocrisy ("he's hot, I can be at his beck and call for a month" but also "who does he think I am that he can tell me what to do?"; isn't open with Landon but throws the hissiest of fits when he isn't with her; plays games but gets angry when others do, too). However, I adore the guys and they more than make up for it. Their character arc and hidden depth is amazing and really brings me into the story. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Alexis Page’s performance as Quinn is absolutely breathtaking—she pours every ounce of heartbreak and strength into her narration, making Quinn feel beautifully real. The male narrators are pure perfection: Grayson Owens as the stoic Landon, JF Harding as Kingston (his snark, omg!), and Theo Sinclair, a new voice for me, as Max Brand (total fire!). Somehow, they make the Knights equally tempting and tortured—plus, as a listener, I enjoyed piecing together secrets even before Quinn did.
GIA IS THE REAL MVP—her friendship with Quinn is gold! And I love how the guys’ relationships (Kingston & Max in particular) hint at even deeper, juicier layers to come. A huge thank you to Ms. Elle Parker for this ALC! I can't wait to dive into Book #2. Such a great start to this series!

I ate this book up! Tell me why there was technically NO actual scenes if you know what I mean, yet it was still spicy as all get out? Also, I learned I have a new favorite micro trope. Forget other woman drama! Bring on the other men drama. I know this is a why choose romance, but these boys all seem to have their own secret agendas to make a rift within this secret society, and I am here for it! This was a full cast audiobook, and I 10/10 recommend getting the audiobook for this one! I need book two on audio ASAP! Because what do you mean that's the end of this book?!?
