RK has done it again! Honestly, this might be my favorite book of hers yet! It’s got everything I crave in a story: a gripping plot, characters so well-developed they feel real, and plenty of delicious spice to keep things interesting. While it can be read on its own, I highly recommend listening to the previous books in the series first. The overlapping characters and interconnected world make the whole experience richer and more addictive. One of the things I adore about RK is the way she takes classic literature and breathes new life into it by adding her own clever twists while still honoring the heart of the original. Perfect Villain plays in the decadent world of The Great Gatsby, Charming Devil gives us a fresh spin on The Picture of Dorian Gray, and this one? This one is her stunning take on Wuthering Heights, which happens to be one of my all-time favorite classic love stories. And the best part? I know book four is already in the works, and I’m counting down the days! The narrators were absolutely spot-on, making the entire experience even more unforgettable.
