Good story overall. I just thought Max was a little over-the-top as a character. I also don’t really understand the current trend in romance fiction of people getting all crazy about age gaps. In the case of Max and Sean, you’d have thought an eight-year age gap was a chasm, which is just not the case.

The intimate scenes were fire, and that was a lot of the saving grace for me. The narrator was excellent, too.

I really enjoyed the books. As much as I loved Tad and Scott...I could have done without their POVs in Max and Sean. I looking forward to the next books. Kora grabbed me with the Alien Captivity books. New fan. Narration was in point.

Omg I don’t know where to begin as this conclusion of Max and Sean literally had me holding my chest . Just when I thought Max was ready boom 💥 he shows us just how ready he is not . Sean a sexy , college student who majors in photography lands his sights on Max and boy he doesn’t let go ! This feisty man takes whatever Max throws his way and still stands strong . Max a lonely , guarded Dom by night and Teacher by day realizes that what he has wanted , craved and Desired more than anything is right in front of him , but Max fights and fights it . So many times im this story I was like Sean can do better but better is Max . Please take chance on this story by starting with Upending Tad first , then Unearthed and Revived as the last you will not be disappointed. Kora Knight knocked this out the park and OMFG did Micheal Dean work the hell out of the narration . Perfection !! The growls this man gave us and low breathy whispers wow just wow !! I can’t wait for Breck and Kai to come to audio but for now I will physically read it because I can’t wait !!! Get these books !!!!!

The conclusion to Max and Sean's story. I was very pleased to have Tad and Scott in the storyline too. I miss those boys.
Max is still miserable. Sean is still hopelessly in love with Max. Max's defensives are down a couple times when Sean comes over unannounced and goes against everything he believes in and loves on Sean, call him lovely Irish names and then realizes what he has done and then turns into the biggest jerk to Sean and kicks him out. But for some reason Sean just won't give up. Max's answer to the problem is to give Sean away to Kai, another Dom. Just give him away like a piece of meat. Typical Max.
There is a time when Sean comes over, just to be a friend (he has accepted they are not meant to be together). Max is not in a good place but promises to not hate on Sean the next day but of coarse he does. Because he is a dick. Sean looses it and calls him a coward. I was crying in this scene. The whole scene from the night before to the morning. Sean is just so sweet.
Max is taken aback at being called a coward, especially as that is what he called Kevin. It opened his eyes to exactly what he has been doing all along to Sean. But is it too late? Sean is not at his apartment when Max goes to win him back and he fears for the worst as Sean told his roomie to take all his stuff. But maybe Max deserves what might happen to him, again, but Sean doesn't. Sean deserves the world and someone who will worship him.
Through trials and tribulations Max and Sean do have their happy ending. It's all because of Sean. Sean did all the work. Max was just a dick. I still think he's a dick. Maybe we will see more of them in Kai and Brecks story to see where they are at. Max better be worshiping the ground Sean walks on.
As always Michael Dean's narration is top notch.
