So, so, soooooooo good...

Hot. I am not sure how to review this without spoiling some surprises in the book. Her boyfriend cheats on her and you won't believe with who! To get revenge she gets with her ex's dad! And boy does Daddy Ford know how to treat her right! She is finally doing things for herself living her life and having the time of her life! This series is going to be fun! Love it. This audio was so hot and delicious with Sebatian York and Janine Granda giving an amazing hot AF performance!

ALSO!! I love all the easter eggs of other books of Brittanee's that are throughout the book. Character's lives crossing and intertwining!

Beautiful ending! Lake and Ford <3

• Thoughts:
I loved this!! Loved it. It was T-Swift inspired. But I very much enjoyed the story from start to finish! Ford is so dang hot!!! Soooo hot!! The emotional healing he shows her and encourages her to speak up and take what she wants. That alone is so swoony! He truly sees Lake and pays attention to her. Lake is truly able to be herself with him. Gah, you guys, I really liked this one. I kinda wish it was a little longer. I had this finished in less than a day. Ha.

Narrators:
Sebastian York. Gahhhhhh, he is the perfect Ford. Oh, his deep, growly voice! I can listen to that man read an engine manual, and I would swoon.
Janine Granda. She is a newer to me, narrator, and she is perfection!! I loved her performance, and I will definitely be seeking her out.

This was a great quick and dirty listen with revenge, age gap, ex boyfriend’s dad, spice, and more. I’ve listened to Sebastian’s work before and was looking forward to this, but damn Janine! The voice inflections during each scene amped up my own emotions to match. This was my introduction to the narrator and I was eating it up! Lake sure gets her revenge after her ex cheats on her and it was a fun ride 😏

This was a great quick read, and my first book by Brittanee Nicole.

Ford and Lake were on fire. Their chemistry and also their personalities were so well matched. When Lake finds her boyfriend cheating on her, she finds herself lost and a bit out of sorts. Lake is a famous rockstar, so whatever she does gets magnified by the public. When she tries to make a move on her music company's boss--also her ex's father--Lake gets a bit more than she bargained for. No spoilers but the story was well done.

Of course, Sebastian York was so wonderful w/his narration. Janine Granda was new to me, and I enjoyed her performance as well.

This is the first book in The Revenge Games series. Lake is one of the biggest pop artists at the moment. She is also one of the most kindhearted humans. She is currently signed under her boyfriend’s dad’s music label. Ford Hall is the owner and said father. He has always noticed Lake, even before he signed her. Lake’s boyfriend Paul is complete trash. He is spoiled and lazy. One night after her concert she found her boyfriend hooking up with her manager. She lost it and got drunk. Daddy Ford came to the rescue. What would make for the best revenge other than sleeping with her ex-boyfriend’s dad? Janine Granda and Sebastian York did an amazing job narrating this book in duet style narration.
