The life goals have stacked up since I started this journey as a sad, lonely little ghost. I'm not sure how things escalated so quickly from trying to be seen and heard, to bearing the weight of the world on my vain little shoulders. As a result, my goals have gotten a little more serious....

Goal #14: Learn to take a hit without breaking or suffering some type of death.

Goal #15: Decide once and for all if I'm going to save or destroy the world. I'm not sure why people put this sort of responsibility on hell-spawn like me.

Goal #17: Find and kill all the unicorns. Mwahahahahaha.

Goal #18: Live to enjoy forever with the guys I sacrificed all my memories to save.

Goal #19: No matter what, they don't get to die. Or I really will be the Apocalypse.

We're the most screwed up collection of antiheroes the world has ever seen, because the only thing that makes me want to save the world is knowing I could lose my boys forever if I don't. It's one hell of a love story, you know?

I don’t normally right a review. But this triage was the best I’ve listened to ever I mean ever and I have been listening to audio books my entire life.

I will say that I agree with other reviews. What a bitter sweet ending, I mostly expected it, hoped it wouldn't and was still surprised that it did happen.
I'll admit that, I waited a long time to finally break down and start this series. I've never been one to read books about Heaven and Hell. Thankfully, I gave it a try and basically couldn't stop until I was finished. These books had me laughing almost the whole time, I swear my boss thinks I'm crazy and it's not like I can explain why I am laughing since she is a God fearing lady. Anyway, Paca is extremely loveable MC, though I am truly happy that we only had to put up with one part of her personality for the last five minutes because it was truly cringe worthy after the personality I loved within the first few minutes of the first book.
Kristy Cunning did a wonderful job, as to many times it seems Authors start to lose steam after the second book of a series. Each book seemed to only get better as it progressed. There wasn't much world building which isn't really an issue as Kristy does very well giving you basic information and letting your own imagination take over. That is a skill i very much wish a lot more authors had. There wasn't an over load of to much information that made you want to skip a head because there was to much explaining go on. While there were also a fair amount of sex scenes, it wasn't over the top either. As balance is the main theme in these books Kristy Cunning showed her own skill at balance as well.
Hollie Jackson has to be the best narrator i've come across so far. Through out the books I kept forgetting it wasn't being read by two people, as she did that well with the male voices. There were only a few times that she slipped up and I only noticed it in this final book and I believe that mostly had to do with the ever changing POV's in this final one. The first three were all from Paca's POV and the final one we got to see from Paca's Harem as well. I'll be looking at the books she narrator's for my next read. Which i am about to go look for once i finish this review.
If i could give this series a higher rating I would.

This series is not steamy orgies spliced together with romantic plot. Well written, compelling story, and at one point I was laughing so hard I had to make a run to avoid peeing myself. Then tears along with laughter in this final book. Seriously well written supernatural fantasy romance with plenty of laughs and a very enduring love story.

I tried out this series on a whim to try something new (a ghost story) and was immediately hooked! I binged all 4 books in just a few days. The story is fantastic, I even snickered out loud at work LOL

I have read this series and heard Ms Black’s narration so many times. Brilliant plot. So sad that Ms Owens is deceased. What a tragic loss.

Combine a harem, hell and a ghostly girlfriend. it's really cute and unique. I love the characters and it's very well narrated.

I really enjoyed this much more than I thought I would. although I would have preferred it in a duet style narration because the male characters have such individual speaking voices. also this was not nearly as heavy on sex as these can be which was really nice. you got to really enjoy the story and since the world building was very unusual, it was great to spend as much time listening to it as we did here
