This is a new series Ari Wright came out with in her omegaverse books. It is royalty and really reminded me of a fairytale retelling with a twist. A mix between Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast.

I love Ari Wright's omegaverse books and thought I'd give this one a try. I do have to say at certain times I did find myself bored and pausing the audiobook quite often. This story was softer than most of her omegaverse books, and I think all of her OV are sweet and soft. I think that is why I didn't like it at times.

The narrators did a great job throughout it. Lucy Jessica and Luke William Bromley were 2 new narrators for me. I'm not sure if their accents, as at times it didn't sound like they had any, really, but I know the characters were from a different country because 1 alpha was from America. Their voices did match what I think fairytale voices would sound like, if that makes sense.

We have an omega that has been abused most of her life, which was easy to see throughout the story. Ivy didn't even know she was an omega. She thought she was a beta her whole life. She had a sad story growing up, except for the parts where her mom worked for the palace and Ivy became friends with Prince Asher as a preteen thru age 16.

We have the prince, Asher, who sent his only love away, Ivy, because he thought he could never truly bond with a beta. Fast forward years later, and Asher is now in a pack with a Duke, Diar, and a Lord, Sebastian. These alpha's are out to find their mate so they can take over the country.

You could tell each of these Alpha's wanted Ivy in their own way, minus Asher. He only thought he could ever live Ivy but went her away. He never even noticed the same girl was their personal maid. Can we say delirious.

Dair was a grumpy, bad boy duke that was abused his whole life. He wanted payback towards the people who treated him this way and to lose his title. He had selfish reasons for joining this pack, but everything happens for a reason. The way he treated Ivy after she found him 1 night was appalling. Yet, there is always something about a bad boy that has me rooting for them. He seemed to know the most about Ivy and her life in general anyway.

Sebastian was the charming one. He wanted to be friends with Ivy even though he was attracted to her. He would flirt with her, and they would get along the most. Especially when it came time to Ivy talking to animals... yes, I know, very Cinderella like. They had the nicest connection where the other 2 Alpha's had a lot of groveling to do when they figured out she was their mate.

It was obvious that all of these alpha's felt something towards Ivy, from childhood to adulthood. Yet, until there was a masquerade ball and Ivy's true omega finally came out, she didn't rant seen to fit their needs. Then the fact that Dair was the only alpha who knew who she was then...I ended up living his Alpha the most. He went from bad boy, playboy to the over protector.

Ivy had a lot to learn during all this. She really did care for all 3 of these Alpha's, but never thought she was an omega. Then, add in what she was living with, and it started to make sense. She refused to believe she was abused until she was away from her family, and then she saw it. Thank God Dair was a stalker and found her when he did.

This book did get cheesy at times, but I stuck it out. I hate purchasing an audiobook and not listening all the way through. I liked the ending. It was sweet and came full circle. These alpha's really proved themselves while making sure they showed Ivy who their really Queen/Mate was.

love this story, didn't mind the narrators overall but there was one word's pronunciation that pulled me out every time when done in the British accent. Omega. its a me problem probably, but it effected my enjoyment of the story. as a result this will be a book I reread not relisten to.

I absolutely loved any thing Ari writes and this dis not disappoint. My only grievance is the way the female narrator says omega..seriously by the end of the book I was correcting her out loud..lol.

Ari always writes sweet and funny while scorching hot omegaverse ; once again I'M OBSESSED. Ivy is definitly on my top 3 in my cozy omegaverse list of fave FMC 😍
