This story is full of suspense, steamy scenes and twists and turns with such chemistry between Hawk and Kelly. Highly recommend!

Great story

Initially I found this heroine irritating and abrasive. Had a good case of the Mads at her and her childish behavior. As the story progressed I understood some of the causes of this behavior and it became easier to sympathize. In the final chapters she grew up into someone if I'd like to meet. Piper once again wrote a book I couldn't stop listening to.

Piper knows how to write awesome stories! This one kept me on the edge of my seat! WOW! All the twists and turns. And of course Ken was wonderful. A must listen!!!

Hawke, a reclusive mountain man whose job fighting forest fires can mean days away at time and Kelley, desperate and on the run from corrupt and dangerous men. A swoon worthy couple, and for me, so much fun to get to know! When Kelley’s truck breaks down, she comes across Hawke’s well stocked unoccupied cabin and it seems like a godsend! At least until HE comes home and finds HER in HIS bed! Uh oh, there is a reason they say “don’t poke the bear”! “Kept” is as hot as the sun and so very delightfully naughty! This dark romantic suspense story is definitely for adults only! I have to say right off that I LOVED this plot! The writing kept me on the edge the entire time, so much so that at times, I really had to restrain myself from upping the speed! The suspense was killing me! I loved the characters! I loved the premise, and oh my, did I love the heat! I’m not going into plot details for fear of playing spoiler, but I will say that my attention was held and my emotions throughly engaged. I really wanted these two to have their happily forever after! While listening, I think I felt every emotion there was to feel! This story pulled something out of me very special, and then there was Buck! OMG Buck! I loved Buck and I want a buck of my very own! I will definitely be listening to this one again. I absolutely loved it! Five, I laughed, I cried, and I loved everything about this one, stars!

I though this was just gonna be a typical enemies to lovers. This story had so many levels to show the trust that was built by these two! A must read
