Sebastian Frost frequently found himself marrying women he barely knew.

His first wife demanded that he marry her as payment for saving his life, his second tricked him into marrying her, the third he married to secure an alliance, and his fourth was Lysandra. Lysandra was the only woman that Frost chose to marry and she was also the future mother of his child.

He thought that after marrying Lysandra he would be finished marrying women he just met but it seemed he was mistaken.

In the heat of the moment, he made a reckless wager that resulted in him being engaged to Olivia Moray, a noblewoman from the obscenely wealthy Moray family. If he married Olivia, he would have access to her vast fortune. If he didn't marry her, the Moray family would take it as a grave insult. It was an easy choice to make.

Frost had more important things to deal with, like his agreement with the Goddess Riliandra.

The goddess found her next prophet and per their deal, Frost needed to protect her. The only problem was that the cute demihuman prophet in question was located in Nir, a country that did not welcome visitors and happened to be at war with Rilia.

Frost was going to have to find a way to smuggle himself into the country, find the prophet, and escape. All without getting the attention of the Herald of Niri, a powerful sorceress rumored to be immortal.

Herald of Shalia is a fun fantasy light LitRPG/Gamelit by Tamryn Tamer and contains attention starved elves, naughty harpies, creative catgirls, foxy madams, foul language, and completely over the top love making. You've been warned.

the story is fine my issue is with the performance, the narration of the 2 narrators are so out of sync with totally different recording quality taking away from any ability to sync with the story itself

noticeably worse

Really glad that this finally came out.
Hoping the missing parts are fixed.

Overall, I'm excited to see how the story develops going on.

Long time waiting.

Overall, the book has a decent storyline and plot. There are times I would like to see the MC be a bit more assertive in how he handles those who betray him.

Decent storyline

There were several instances where the audio had awkwardly long pauses of just silence, or would reference a character saying something even though there was no audio of what thebcharacter said. Otherwise, FANTASTIC!

Re-edit NEEDED

I thought the other Reviews might have just been a bit too picky about the Audio, i was wrong, did anyone listen to this before they posted it, i guess not, FIX THE AUDIO

it is the whole point of an Audio Book after all,

Also not enough Baron Slade not enough hestia and no lishrey at all, i waited forever for book 5 and it was way way to much sexy time and not enough world building and kinda boring, i enjoyed the first 4 books and the voice actors did a great job it is not there fault this one turned out the way it did,

if a book 6 ever comes out i will use a credit for it, but i am not holding my breath the ending to this one seemed rushed almost like the author had enough of this story and just wanted to end it in a nice little Bow, more like a 3 year old wrapped it up with tape and glue and said Done

overall not worth the wait i would have paid Half a credit for the story and editing issues
