I almost didn't get this book because of some of the bad reviews. SMH! This book was so good (“soooo gooood, Beast”😍!), I listened to it 10 times in a row! DO NOT think you can just listen to a couple of chapters and go to bed or work! You're going to have one sleepless night or one non-productive day at work! You've been warned! 😳🤓

It was hard to see how Serena/Thel could love such a man. But the broken was intriguing when he he wasn't being all beastly. This is not a true love story with hearts and flowers. No, this is obsession, desire, grit, ugly cries, and beastly acts which, yes...lead to a hard fought love that needed to be confirmed, acknowledged, and lived. Great book! Narrator did a fantastic job, as always.

I loved this story when I first read it a while ago. Listening to it on audible made it even better. the narrator did an AWESOME JOB!!! the story was so complex, and intense, and it held my attention to the very end. Beast and Thell were great. oh yeah, I loved her mother.

I like this book, and I wish audible to get; audible, like Ian and Nikolai, so I can finish the series. That be great. Wanted to love it, but barely liked it.. at first! To clarify, I've read baby daddy and Russian Billionaire and loved them both- like LOVED from the beginning. But this book was all over the place for me and did not flow well at first. Also, my beloved Alecxi from Russian Billionaire was SO terrible throughout most of this book that I actually said outloud, "Ugh! Theodora, why must you betray us like this!?" Towards the end though things were revealed and it all came together beautifully. I laughed, almost cried, got upset, clutched my invisible pearls.. all the feels with this book. So, if you can keep yourself in check long enough to get to the "aah haaa" moment, you will really like this book too. Also, as always- LOVED Clementine's narration, she is one of my FAVORITES!

The end made it worth it.

I'm so glad I've found this writer! her books have so much heart,heat and crazy great storylines! I love that the stories I've listened to so far are all interconnected. I have really come to love all the characters and am happy when they show up again. really hoping these guys will be in future books I putchase! the narrator is superb!

Two people from opposite sides of the world come together and find a beautiful, but hard fought love story. Literally and figuratively they fight to find their happily ever after. He has a very dark side and one particular scene when he humiliates her is unforgivable but somehow our heroine uses it to fuel the courage she needs to leave which sets him on the path he needs to grow. Two battered hearts find what’s missing in them because of each other. Well done.
