I loved the relationship Bobby and Tilly had, but when you added in Marcus it was so beautiful. They truly all fit so well together.
The spicy scenes were HOTTTTT! I was foaming at the mouth over Bobby’s dirty mouth.
This story was performed in duet by James Joseph, Sean Masters & Allie Rose. Their trio was amazing, and they really brought this story to life.

The duet-style narration for this story comes from the incredibly talented cast of Allie Rose, James Joseph, and Sean Masters. Allie Rose shines as Tilly as she effortlessly voices the character through her metamorphosis from a broken woman with little to no sense of worth to that of a strong, confident woman not afraid to take control. James Joseph channels his usual excellence into his performance as Bobby, flawlessly capturing his playful personality along with his darker side and addictions. And Sean Masters is nothing short of perfection as Marcus, giving an incredibly impassioned performance as he brings this dynamic and tortured character to life. Overall, the fantastically compelling story coupled with the stellar narration make this an audiobook that any lover of dark romance will absolutely obsess over.

This book centers on Tilly, Bobby, and their best friend Marcus, who quickly becomes much more than a friend. Tilly and Bobby have been put through the wringer in their relationship, and while adding another person to the mix should complicate things, Marcus brings healing and a sense of hope to where they have felt broken.
The world that D.E. Dietz has created is so lush and descriptive, while simultaneously adding in the elements that make it into a dark romance; Bobby and Tilly both grapple with unhealthy coping mechanisms, there are elements of mafia violence, and challenging family dynamics. Though this book takes on a higher level of heat, it is still well balanced with character arcs and plot.
Allie Rose, James Joseph, and Sean Masters all did a fantastic job narrating, and I was enthralled by their performances. Sean did a great job leaning into the British accent and maintaining it throughout the book. Allie's voice is so unique, and I love it for this series - it pairs well with the slightly darker female characters, and she is PERFECTION as Baba. James is a narrator with great range, and Bobby goes through quite the journey in this book, and it allows him to show off his acting chops.
